Guest Fukku Posted April 20, 2018 Report Posted April 20, 2018 It destroyed my phone huhuhu my internal storage was 16 gb but now only 10 gb why? My model is Sony XA F3115
Guest alex h Posted June 21, 2018 Report Posted June 21, 2018 I know you posted this a while ago but i follow the steps as instructed and got this error java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Unsupported partition type 179,321|shell@s5neolte:/ $
Guest earnestattempts Posted March 22, 2019 Report Posted March 22, 2019 Alex h, I got that same error and then I figured out that I put a space after the colon in "sm partition disk:179,32 private" and there shouldn't be one. Just in case this helps uhh, 9 months later or helps someone else who found their way here to find a solution.
Guest Tim Lim Posted June 6, 2019 Report Posted June 6, 2019 (edited) Hi Paul, I have a Galaxy A7 (2015) Android version 6.0.1. Guest yoyoyo1000 Posted June 26, 2019 Report Posted June 26, 2019 Is there a safe workaround to format the sd card as internal on the Moto X4 Amazon version?
Guest Swaffle Posted December 26, 2019 Report Posted December 26, 2019 On a J7 V, what is abd shell and how do I get it? Its a good idea to explain that first
Guest JSSYYJ Posted June 28, 2020 Report Posted June 28, 2020 This no longer works on Oreo (Android 8.0). When you enter the partition command nothing happens - no error, no activity, the command is just ignored. If anyone has a different experience with Oreo, please post it here. @PaulOBrien, please post an update to the original article to let Oreo users know that this loophole has likely been closed.
