Guest russy1982 Posted June 28, 2016 Report Posted June 28, 2016 Nnice one mate..look forward to it, will be moving to mokee as my daily driver soon
Guest gitanillo87 Posted June 29, 2016 Report Posted June 29, 2016 I've tried all the common governors, the 1 and 2 cores stay in sleep mode. I have run antutu benchmark and the score confirms that the cores wont wake and are permanently offline. It's an odd power save feature ;) What rom do you use on your device? Thanks again for the quick replies :) ok maybe i fix the cores bug, only must change de I/O scheluder from "row" to "cfq" and all cores work..try and tell me
Guest Odour Fone Posted June 29, 2016 Report Posted June 29, 2016 (edited) It woke the cores up when i first changed the IO scheduler. Now I've got cfq to survive reboot but still 2 cores offline. Edit. I've used kernel adiuter to enable the two cores and cfq at boot they power up but after ten seconds they go offline. I wonder where this setting is stored that disable cores 1-2 after boot? Guest Odour Fone Posted June 29, 2016 Report Posted June 29, 2016 (edited) Could it be -mpdecision- controls the cores power state. This maybe invalid for this rom and i wouldn't know how to control the settings, init.d? Edited June 29, 2016 by Odour Fone
Guest gitanillo87 Posted June 29, 2016 Report Posted June 29, 2016 I googled "android power management disable cpu core" and it sounds like - mpdecision- controls the cores power state. this maybe wrong for this rom and i wouldnt know how to set this permanently, init.d? look kernel auditor faq maybe its only a facture of cm on lollipop
Guest Odour Fone Posted June 29, 2016 Report Posted June 29, 2016 (edited) It sounds like its a feature of the rom. The mokee site says unique power saving features but disabling 25% of the cpu permanently is dumb. Pity http://bbs.mfunz.com/ is all in Chinese or i would ask there :( Thanks for your time and effort. Edited June 29, 2016 by Odour Fone

Guest gitanillo87 Posted June 29, 2016 Report Posted June 29, 2016 Hows this going?? testing but seems to be more similar than the RC1 ...the cores bug its a dedicated boost of mokke kernel...so its not a bug...
Guest russy1982 Posted June 29, 2016 Report Posted June 29, 2016 Arhh ok, so rc1 will be the last update??
Guest Silvionne Posted June 30, 2016 Report Posted June 30, 2016 Hi everyone, I want to thank you for this wonderfull Custom ROM, with this one it feels I have a new phone, I was kinda bored of the stock ROM. I have a small question: how to I ged rid of the annoying google search bar that appears on each main screen? Thank you again for this very nice ROM.
Guest Odour Fone Posted June 30, 2016 Report Posted June 30, 2016 I've noticed something, 3d/GPU performance is improved but CPU is down maybe the 2 cores are dedicated to rendering. Can anyone else confirm by running 3dmark on stock then with mokee?
Guest gitanillo87 Posted June 30, 2016 Report Posted June 30, 2016 Arhh ok, so rc1 will be the last update?? yes,for the moment

I haven't used this rom but have you tried long pressing and dragging to the bin? If not (and there's no seeting to do so) xposed has an add-on https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.theknut.xposedgelsettings ofc, the easiest way without a custom rom or rooting is to change the launcher. Guest Odour Fone Posted June 30, 2016 Report Posted June 30, 2016 (edited) Not working. From what i can tell an IO scheduler is for disk scheduling. So it schedules the read-writes to and from flash/SD and maybe RAM. I dont think it controls the cpu cores, but i could be wrong? We need to find what controls CPU power management in this rom. Just found this info. on http://androidmodguide.blogspot.co.uk/p/blog-page.html The Hotplug governor performs very similarly to the OnDemand governor, with the added benefit of being more precise about how it steps down through the kernel's frequency table as the governor measures the user's CPU load. However, the Hotplug governor's defining feature is its ability to turn unused CPU cores off during periods of low CPU utilization. This is known as "hotplugging." im editing this as i find more info, to not have a ton of useless posts) Edited June 30, 2016 by Odour Fone
Guest Odour Fone Posted June 30, 2016 Report Posted June 30, 2016 (edited) just clean installed again to double check still no change. I would like to know what google keyboard is downloading on first boot hopefully not MALWARE? I'll use CM instead it seem almost identical anyway. Edited June 30, 2016 by Odour Fone

Guest Odour Fone Posted July 1, 2016 Report Posted July 1, 2016 (edited) Rc1 all cores active, checked last night. I think it's the governors hotplugging. Edited July 1, 2016 by Odour Fone
