Guest PaulOBrien Posted August 8, 2016 Report Posted August 8, 2016 If you are using a Huawei / Honor device without DT2W (double tap to wake), you can enable it using this zip file (apply from TWRP). Points to note... support is still kernel dependent so even though the option will appear in smart assistance -> motion control, it may not work for all devices (I'm looking into potential kernel changes for unsupported devices) backup everything before installing this change is tested on the Huawei P9 You can download the zip file from Gitlab, where the source is also hosted. Enjoy! P
Guest Frankish Posted August 9, 2016 Report Posted August 9, 2016 I'd seen this for P9 Lite and was tempted however I want to keep Android Pay working so don't want to root really or mess with system files if it disables this.
Guest PaulOBrien Posted August 10, 2016 Report Posted August 10, 2016 It probably would disable Pay if there's a system partition check. P
Guest Liffeyman Posted August 26, 2016 Report Posted August 26, 2016 I'm getting an error in trwp, something a long the line of "Could not find 'meta-inf/com/google/android/update-binary' in the zip file" Should the zip be only 445kb?
Guest D0pamin Posted September 9, 2016 Report Posted September 9, 2016 Has anyone already tried this for the honor 8?
