3G unsupported?

I have a huawei y300 0-100 which accepts 3g only 900/2100MHz but my sim's 3g is 1900Mhz I can't connect using H+, only edge and it's horrible, any rom or way to change that?

 

 

 would it work if I installed the MIUI V5 4.0.10 rom which runs european baseband? Although, I'm from latinamerica, would that work?
