Guest mugre27 Posted August 13, 2017 Report Posted August 13, 2017 Hello, I had read it but wanted to know if the problems could be positioned. Thank you
Guest pawwaap Posted August 13, 2017 Report Posted August 13, 2017 Finally fixed camera :-) - fixed focusing - color spots - distortions - quality ... Fixed files soon And where these amendments to get from? ;) Yet, if anyone could do anything with this wakeup delay (from DeepSleep) it would be brilliant! :)

Guest PalmTrees Posted August 20, 2017 Report Posted August 20, 2017 @KonstaTwould you ever consider doing any work on Rockchip based tablets?

It takes like half an hour to test a ROM yourself. That's what nandroid backups are for! CM12.1 is near perfect. CM13 is more hacked together but that's how it usually is running newer Android versions device shouldn't be running in the first place. 16 hours ago, PalmTrees said: @KonstaTwould you ever consider doing any work on Rockchip based tablets? It might be quite difficult to do any real 'work' with no sources available. Their SoCs seem quite underpowered as well. Kernel source available? Android BSP available? Rockchip developer boards with sources available? Edited August 21, 2017 by KonstaT

Older Hi10 Plus devices don’t need any compatibility patch. There's a newer Hi10 Plus batch (that was shipped with 20170220 firmware) that is not supported due to hardware changes and lack of kernel source. Edited August 22, 2017 by KonstaT

Android BSP https://android.googlesource.com/platform/hardware/bsp/rockchip/ Kernel sources are available here: https://github.com/rockchip-linux/kernel Developer boards: http://www.arctablet.com/blog/forum/ifive-mini-models/ifive-mini-4s/page-17/?lang=fr (this is for the FNF Ifive Mini 4s). Their site is a bit old school and difficult to navigate. The developer 'Oma' is the go-to guy over there. The reason is ask is because of the Teclast P10 (https://www.gearbest.com/tablet-pcs/pp_696395.html) -> It ships with Android N and seems like a decent deal (you can get it cheaper elsewhere).

That is not Android BSP (Board Support Package). That's something for abondoned kylin Brillo (Google's IoT platform before Android Things) developer board. http://rockchip.wikidot.com/kylin Reference kernel for the platform is a good thing but you'll still need device specific kernel source with the drivers for the specific hardware used in the device (camera, sensors, audio, etc). Teclast P10 doesn't seem like a good device and it probably even performs worse than Cherry Trail. I don't need another tablet and I'm currently busy with other things to do platform/device bring ups anyway. Edited August 23, 2017 by KonstaT

What should I do?A: Download patch below and install it in TWRP. Hi10 Pro (z8350 - serial no HQ64) is not supported because of hardware changes and lack of kernel source code. Reading usually helps first. Then you can ask Chuwi to comply to GPLv2 and release Linux kernel source for their devices.
Guest TommyBeretta Posted August 24, 2017 Report Posted August 24, 2017 Sorry :D I 've read/interpreted your highlighted sentence "Hi10 Pro (z8350 - serial no HQ64) is not supported" that devices with "NO HQ64" in it`s serial aren`t supported...And mine has HQ serial.... Anyways, i will try your Lineage 12 Build :) Thank you so far for your work !

Guest pawwaap Posted September 3, 2017 Report Posted September 3, 2017 Finally fixed camera :-) - fixed focusing - color spots - distortions - quality Like see one the screen after and before - the same distance from the wall ... Fixed files soon And what about these fixed packages? Is there any update to this ROM 20170508 since may?
Guest yener90 Posted September 13, 2017 Report Posted September 13, 2017 (edited) I uploaded the version 2017-09-13: https://mega.nz/#F!R0821JbT!3sv0sYWEsEhpZGH6WqNbXQ The difference here is that the device is default not rooted. If you want root, you need to install addonsu-13.0-x86-signed.zip. I will upload a zip file which replaces Home-Key with Back-key. All my thanks to Konstat, who helped me everytime.
