AICP

Android Ice Cold Project

AICP is known by everyone as Ice Cold Project that started on Desire HD and since then evolved into a mature ROM with the BEST community you can find!!!

Until Lollipop, Rom has always been AOKP based. Unfortunately, since AOKP either stopped development or will make a comeback later this year, we changed our base to CM when it comes to hardware, drivers and some features.

There are RANDOM bugs. This rom isn't CM supported so no need to report errors or bugs to them!!

About:

- Every thing should works, but FM (no FM on CyanogenMod 11 for now, unless this commit)

- Switched internal/external SDcard works for explorers, at least.

- Fine system, sometimes touchpad freezes.

UPDATE:

- new u8833 build has working FM and signature spoofing!

That update puts me in dilemma now. XD
Is OctOs similiar roms in the back, and just aestetheticly different, and which one do you suggest in terms of performance, if they are?

MicroG are preinstalled? What's "aicp-u8833-repair.zip" ?

Judging by content, it should repair FM problems. And it doesn't have MicroG preinstalled, but it has system spoofing - you don't need FakeGapps module in order to run it.

No microG, but we all can use OpenGapps, not big lag, as big on LP and MM roms. Just need to be odexed.

That repair fix boot and sd switch for old u8833, but not fix fm radio (as I presume). Use new u8833 build, and do not use repair.zip!!! New build has sd switching, fm radio and signature spoofing.

Almost no diff, same perf, same little bugs, same kernel. AICP has few features more and less stable, I guess, but less in "hardware buttons". 

You can not use SmartLauncher Pro in AICP, I got reboot and bootloop. But wifi upload reboot above 500 kB, not only at 65 kB. And "Volume rocker wake" works if you have screenlocker.
