MourtaKernel for the Nexus 5X

This kernel is upstreamed to last known update in the android tree and the Linux tree, it is as up to date as can be and it will be tracking androids kernel_common which means that we have day zero (actual day zero) vulnerability patches not relying on releases.

 

It's the first one from me for this device, the next will be 3.18 and down the road I'll move android to 4.10 where we have more support for our device in the mainline kernel.

This version has basically everything  you'd expect and then some, most of all it has a hotplug system made specifically for the Nexus 5X and 6P and it works very well. Expect 4-7 hours over 2-3 days of battery depending on usage.
