Apparently when the question said something like "write a letter to a friend" kids were submitting stuff written in SMS shorthand! Glad i'm not an English GCSE marker...

Now i've just got more university exams to look forward to :) I've seen some SMSs that I just can't understand a word (no wait, umm, string of letters) of - maybe i'm just getting old! Is it something to do with all those "1001 LTL BK F TXTS" books you see in bookshops - how am I meant to know that I0NSPFMNWLS means "I own a sheep farm in Wales"? Do people learn this stuff :wink:
