Play Store / Google Play Services on my old ZTE Blade!

Hey!

So, I recently aquiried an old ZTE Blade and I'm looking to use it as a spare phone - it's rooted, but it doesn't have Play Store on it! Market doesn't work ('A server error has occurred') and I have no idea what to do.
It's running Android 2.2 and it's exact model number is ZTE P729B.

Any help - at all! - would be much appreciated, thanks.

I'm sorry, according to this article, Gingerbread can no longer use Google Services (including the Play Store) that's why you can't connect.
