Guest Firaas Posted April 12, 2003 Report Posted April 12, 2003 Firaas, I'm on the same train as you on the way home. Don't fall asleep or you could end up Tanagerless!!! - Seriously, well done! (I'm jeolous) Heh - did actually fall asleep for an hour between Stoke on Trent and Stockport - woops! (Great phone!) Did anyone see the camera on the Intel? It was almost invisible 'til someone pointed out a small (3mm) hole in the back. The quality wasn't great, but it's not a finalised phone. Unfortunately the MS guy said it wouldn't become available! The giveaways were great - almost everybody went home with something (and one of us *looks around* went home with a tanger ) ... (well two if you count Paul's own tanager).
Guest Monolithix [MVP] Posted April 12, 2003 Report Posted April 12, 2003 still on my way home ;) other than that a great day. thanks to everyone concerned! the mitac and intel phones are both amazing. smartphone os really benefits from the extra cpu power. also got loads of gossip. and a coat that i had to lug round london all evening :/ anyway, roll on modaco meet mk 2
Guest ajb3000 Posted April 12, 2003 Report Posted April 12, 2003 there was some great beta software on the phone aswell
Guest Gorskar Posted April 12, 2003 Report Posted April 12, 2003 Damn, wish I'd have just forked out for the overpriced train fare, and come along. Still, I do have a copy of Hexacto Links to preview, read the review on www.smartgamer.org in a few days
Guest vijay555 Posted April 12, 2003 Report Posted April 12, 2003 intel ref crashed every time i used it, but lovely peice of kit, but the rocker/roller combo is a no-no IMHO. Camera was not finalised, no lens cover, but nice update. I'd rather have that "purring kitty" joystick tho! It's certainly destined to be a hit with the ladeeez. And would ever have spotted Florin eh!? He doesn't come up looking like a usual suspect, does he? V
Guest Monolithix [MVP] Posted April 13, 2003 Report Posted April 13, 2003 Finally home o/ The roller was great, and 200mhz CPU's are amazing, as was the mitac's camera. Anyway, been up for 18 hours..../me ZzZ
Guest Moony1234 Posted April 13, 2003 Report Posted April 13, 2003 lol i didnt even know about it till i saw this thread :S was it stickified? if not do that next time, and i didnt get an email about it  /me cries. anyway, post some photos!
