There are lots of interesting things in the press release, particularly

'To provide the processing horsepower needed for the Mio 8380's amazing range of capabilities, it utilizes Intel's mobility- and network-optimized Xscale CPU.'

It has a decent screen too :)

Totally rules the SPV except for camera - 110kpixels is a shame, our SPV's come with 300kpixel cameras.

pay attention to battery/size/times

yes, it may be a little bit excessive :?

To my opinion, the Mitac has the same size as the Sony Ericsson Z1010 (click here to compare) because they have both a 2.2" screen and a memory card slot.

But anyway, clamshell with integrated camera will help smartphone to become more popular. Vodafone sold more than 200.000 clamshell GD87 and GX10 since end of 2002 ;) Moreover clamshell design is very popular in Asia.

Now, let's wait for the next devices announced by Intel, Asustek and TCL-Legend ! :)

- Camera Res
