Guest mobillars Posted March 6, 2003 Report Share Posted March 6, 2003 Just got the new software version 1.3.6.24 And tried to unlock the software but my SPV won't get connected to Active Sync before it's too late. Has anyone any idea on how to solve this? To get connected to activesync, I have to take the phone off the craddle and back in after my homescreen appears, else it won't connect. PLZ help!!! by the way the new mxip_oem_10.provxml file looks like this in the security policy: Oh and it updates the bios of the phone as well got several new canary menus. one with load/save OS maybe one could load a patched OS on to the phone!!! It turns out that the new DK update blocks the ability to de-cert your phone. The only posted solution I've seen is to de-cert the phone before updating, backup the IPSM and then restore the IPSM after updating. Bit of a pain. You should always check this kind of thing before updating... You should be able to reload the previous dk update, as it's a full rom image and de-cert that (I would hope) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
