Its just the answer phone service does add up on the final bill, and seen as a mp3 or wav file wouldnt take up that much room, I thought it might be useful. You would then be able to switch the answer phone on before you went into a meeting or something, and it would record all of your messages for you. I know it's not a total replacement for the networks answer phone as it wouldnt work when you had no signal or the phone was off, but it might save some pennies. It would also be useful if it had a feature where you could cap the total amount of space messages were allowed to take up, before they took over your phone!
