T9-nightmare (again)

My t9 is rubbish too. It took it weeks to learn that t e s t was the word 'test' and not 'veert'. Indeed, 'test' seems to be the only word that it has learnt.

Is the thing supposed to give you options (at the bottom of the screen or somewhere) if it gets confused?

Looks like you just hit "3" once too many times then TSCRYPTO....

Hmmm...I was very careful when inputting the word 'test' into an email or sms, but Mono, I believe you are correct (have just checked) 8)

But like I said, it seems reluctant now to learn anything else.

exactly - when I look at the file IPSMApplication DataSystemmst9.udb in notepad, it's only "learned" words with apostrophes (that's, what's) or hyphens (wax-accident (!))

My professional evaluation is that the SPV's T9 is a crock of s**t ;)
