Guest TSCRYPTO Posted April 22, 2003 Report Posted April 22, 2003 My t9 is rubbish too. It took it weeks to learn that t e s t was the word 'test' and not 'veert'. Indeed, 'test' seems to be the only word that it has learnt. Is the thing supposed to give you options (at the bottom of the screen or somewhere) if it gets confused? :?
Guest Monolithix [MVP] Posted April 22, 2003 Report Posted April 22, 2003 Looks like you just hit "3" once too many times then TSCRYPTO....
Guest TSCRYPTO Posted April 22, 2003 Report Posted April 22, 2003 Hmmm...I was very careful when inputting the word 'test' into an email or sms, but Mono, I believe you are correct (have just checked) 8) But like I said, it seems reluctant now to learn anything else. :?
Guest Chris b.a.r.f. Posted April 22, 2003 Report Posted April 22, 2003 exactly - when I look at the file IPSMApplication DataSystemmst9.udb in notepad, it's only "learned" words with apostrophes (that's, what's) or hyphens (wax-accident (!)) My professional evaluation is that the SPV's T9 is a crock of s**t ;)
Guest vishnuvishnu Posted June 11, 2004 Report Posted June 11, 2004 if your phone is an xphone...then it is because t9 is not included in the xphone rom...therefore if you hard reset it t9 disapears.visit the o2 site for details
