can someone tell me what to do from the moment i download the file :S please help and what can i do to test it works. because what i have done so far seems not to work. I have done what has been said to do. Please help :lol:

Just had my replacement phone and it worked first time :lol: cheers

Mesh121 open the app on your PC and follow the instructions.

1, open app and place phone in cradle, click on begin

2, when instructed to remove the phone from the cradle click on ok and do a hard reset.

3, as the instructions say replace phone in the cradle after the Orange screen dissappears

(wait until the blue windows screen appears) once the phone has finished

booting then you can quit the app.

and that's it ;)

To test to see if it's worked, take a look in software and try out one of the many freebeta apps there.

i'm trying my Dutch SPV

after rebooting, my active sync does not work :lol:

OTA unlucking.. does it still work? didn't receive anything.

But after the hard reset the spv automatically reboots in about 2 minutes.

Does this happen to you too??

As I wrote in the v3 post I'm not able to decert my swiss updated spv... *grin*

soz for sounding stupid but im new to the SPV but how do i Hard reset as i am not succeeding

ive now tried todecertify my phone 3 times and i put divx on and it says the phone still aint decertified wot am i doing wrong can someone please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! im gonna cry ;)

Ok did you manage to do a hard reset? if not do the following, This is the hard reset part and not the

entire walkthrough for the decert process.

OK start the process follow the instructions then...

1, Remove the phone from the cradle

2, power off the phone

3, Make sure the storage card is in the phone

4, Press and hold the record button and press the power button

5, When the phone starts to power up release the buttons and you should see the message

"Card Found"

6, You should then get the message press any key, Press the action button for more than two

seconds to enter the boot loader.

7, In the boot loader choose Erase IPSM when this has finished is should displat "Passed"

8, Now Press and hold the Powerbutton to restart the phone.

9, When you see the blue MS screen wait a couple of seconds and place

the phone back in the crade to complete the decert app ;)

Well done and thanks, saved me so much time and was much easier than manual decert, meant i could play Doom for that extra bit longer ;)

hi all am new to this but when i try and hard reset my spv and i hold down the action button the screen just stays white and i dont get the option to delete any help would be appreciated

Do this way:

as soon as the screen goes white after holding down the action key, release it and it should come the erase menu.

am decerting using v2 successfully but keep losing the ability to use sms. I realise this is a known fault but cannot find any reference to a work around in the newsgroup is it a prob with the programme? Will v3 address this? Or is it just me?

Want to unlock my phone but obviosly need sms facility

Just retry stopping the decert program after 4-5 times it says "file copied".
