I don't know how that could work as the current SMS viewer is incorporated into the OS.
It wouldn't need to integrate with / use the inbuilt SMS viewer, just allow you to view messages internally? Or is access to messages locked down? :?

It would make a major rewrite , and i'm not even sure that would help

I know it would be a fair amount of work, just thought it might be useful! Maybe it could be offered as part of an advanced package with a subscription charge / one-off fee? ;)

looks good! could the smaller one be made a little clearer though? - it looks a little blured

MBoden is gonna hate me for this, but is there any way you could make the Planus app read the contact database itself, instead of using Contacts, like the MMS app does? That way you could implement your own T9 filtering for names instead of relying on M$'s APIs that don't work! I guess that's why the MMS app uses its own contact list instead of the M$ one.

I'm at work and bored, so I thought I'd mess around in photoshop and make some icons. I know it's way too late to enter that competition in that other thread, but what the hay...

beavis, they look great, well done. although we have already chosen the icon for the app so we won't be able to include them i'm afraid.

I know this is a bit late but...

Any chance of add a function which enables you to postpone sending the SMS [i.e.: 'Send Now' or 'Create New Message'] allowing you to write a couple, and then send all at once? Rather than having to send each SMS individually as you currently have to...
