What DOES work!? Do you have lil blue icons infront of the mpeg files!?

Did you trillian zillion times check your spelling in the RegEdit!? Remember one little missing " and it wont work..

What's the exact quote off your string in pockettv_mpgfile/Shell/Open/Command!?

The mpeg has the blue icon next to it but it's just saying there is no file association available :cry:

that will set the two registry file entries for you...

its a cab file with the entries in there.. let me know how it goes, works for me =)

Well that's the file I used!

You've got the registry done .. the file association in Pocket TV .. then reboot reboot reboot *bwahahaha* and cross your fingers and hope for the best.

There is now a CAB file available:

I have updated the instructions... much simpler now, you don't need to touch the registry. And you can easiely un-install PocketTV if you want.

I did that for Davidrm. Poor guy ... ;)

Now, of course, you can encode your favorite videos with the parameters that I indicated in the first post. You can try different parameters, but the Smartphones tend to be slugish when you use a larger image size and/or bitrate.

Has anyone been able to install PocketTV from the CAB file, using the updated instructions ? Is that working ?

Un-installed everything ... ran the cab and it works flawlessly!
