Guest ambro Posted April 27, 2003 Report Posted April 27, 2003 that will set the two registry file entries for you... its a cab file with the entries in there.. let me know how it goes, works for me =)
Guest Vector Posted April 27, 2003 Report Posted April 27, 2003 Well it doesn't say the file associated thing anymore, it just doesn't play  Nice 1 ambro
Guest MoRFLeZ Posted April 27, 2003 Report Posted April 27, 2003 Hmmm did you run the file associations from the Pocket TV program!? Menu // Options // Files // something!?
Guest MoRFLeZ Posted April 27, 2003 Report Posted April 27, 2003 I'm trying to play ice age  Well that's the file I used! You've got the registry done .. the file association in Pocket TV .. then reboot reboot reboot *bwahahaha* and cross your fingers and hope for the best.
Guest ambro Posted April 27, 2003 Report Posted April 27, 2003 hmm try this updated cab file it does the link for the .mpg files for you
Guest The PocketTV Team Posted April 27, 2003 Report Posted April 27, 2003 There is now a CAB file available: http://www.mpegtv.com/wince/pockettv/cab/P...RTPHONE_ARM.CAB I have updated the instructions... much simpler now, you don't need to touch the registry. And you can easiely un-install PocketTV if you want.
Guest MoRFLeZ Posted April 27, 2003 Report Posted April 27, 2003 That's great .. you buzy lil bee!!
Guest The PocketTV Team Posted April 27, 2003 Report Posted April 27, 2003 I did that for Davidrm. Poor guy ... ;) Now, of course, you can encode your favorite videos with the parameters that I indicated in the first post. You can try different parameters, but the Smartphones tend to be slugish when you use a larger image size and/or bitrate.
Guest ambro Posted April 27, 2003 Report Posted April 27, 2003 hehehe, i guess i can say i tried too =)
Guest The PocketTV Team Posted April 27, 2003 Report Posted April 27, 2003 Has anyone been able to install PocketTV from the CAB file, using the updated instructions ? Is that working ? Hey, I guess it's working, already 20 people have registered it ;)
Guest MoRFLeZ Posted April 27, 2003 Report Posted April 27, 2003 Un-installed everything ... ran the cab and it works flawlessly! I've said it many times today, but I gotta say it again. Nice one mate
