hmmm thats weird

all my program does is restore the two class keys found in the hkcr..

if i was you i'd do what the pocket team said to do earlier on is to remove the program and then remove HKCUSoftwareMpegTVPocketTV in the registry!

and then reinstall ;)

see if that does it!

it should do

Some people are not made for Smartphones...

I think maybe Davidrm should keep his good old Nokia ;)

Ambro - thanks - having reinstalled the program and redone the file associations it still wasn't working, but then I used your key cab and now it's working beautifully.

I guess that the Installation CAB for pocketTV doesn't register the keys properly 100% of the time.

lol

Davidrm: do the following =)

1) Uninstall the PocketTv Program.... from the remove app menu....

2) Download my update patch reg.zip from this thread...

install that cab file...

found here: http://www.modaco.com/download.php?id=901

its and updated version to the one you might have downloaded before..

3) Remove any refrence to pocketpc in the Hkey current user..... Not the Class info which the cab file just updated

4) Reinstall the pockettv program... Onto the Storage Card!

you should now be asked to re-register it... if it does then you know all is working well!

This might be a bit premature but in a finished version would there be any chance of a fast forward or at least making it so that when a call interupted your movie watching it would restart at the point at which you left off.

Just wondering...

More movies are required......

I've used the free mpeg program to convert the files but wow they come out at a big size ...like 22 meg for 1 minute short film

I'm using various file's and they are suggesting file size's of 50 meg each one.

I've tried using the setting's which are on page one but they are grey out and do not allow me to use them.
