[How I wish I could visit Cebu again. Since I left my alma matter in 1991, I have not visited Cebu again. So, definitely, I'm not the guy you saw at SM. (Ka itsura lang siguro nako to bay.  :) )

One of these days, I'm going to enjoy the Sinulog Festival again.  :D

Anyway, thanks for the info, ist.

Btw,  re the retractable synch cable of O2 xda, you can also buy the Plug where you can connect to it the usb end of the cable so you can also use it as charger, and not just a synch cable....but you cant use it as a synch cable and charger at the same time. I just forgot how much is that plug...

dinoalbert,

where were you able to buy this plug for the usb? is this the same one sold in this site? http://www.freedom-mobiles.co.uk/aspv.htm

the description is Orange SPV OHTN1307 Connector Adaptor for Mains charger and is sold for 9.99ukp (about php750).

I just came from G&G and each of the adapters cost about P500. A bit pricey don't you think?

@kroblanx: Not if the others cost more than a thousand bucks each.

@carlo, do you know any other stores preferrably here in Makati that sell these retractable cables?

btw, can you bring a Tanager keyboard to the Windows 2003 Server luanch this 20th?

thanks

@dinoalbert: I'm not sure if there are any in Makati (retractable sync cables)

As for the Eleksen Keyboard, I'm afraid I won't have any access to any for the event... It hasn't been officially brought in yet... hence the request for feedback as to who would really care about it...

If you go by the back cover ad in Reviewer's m|ph magazine, the Brando retractable cable is available in Makati at Compex and Mobile1. Cybercomm Enterprises is the local distributor and may be contacted thru 7245302.

One caveat though. My cable no longer retracts and I'd have to tie the wire in a knot to keep it extended. Does the trick.

I saw a desktop charger/cradle at the Smartphone forum yesterday. Costs PhP 850. Also available headset at the Ayala Wireless Center for PhP 450

Here are some accessories I found sold in Festival Mall, Alabang:

Earphones

Battery

Car charger

They told me that they already have the cradle, but its still in their warehouse.

For a case, I'm using an inexpensive (Php200) body glove that has both a belt clip & neck strap - fits perfectly!

Mards

where were you able to buy your inexpensive body glove case??

the body glove case is just an imitation. and the neck strap "connectors" fitted on the case rubs on the SPV when you put it in or take it out. It causes scratches to the SPV's sides. My friend got the same case and now the slver buttons ont he left side of his SPV has some parts chipped off due to the rubbing of the metal rivet inside the case.

what case can you recommend for me to buy??

buy something generic that has no metal parts. i got a 150-peso case for 3210 that fits nicely. got it in virramall.

I may have gotten the same case as you as well as your friend.....and yes, it has 2 metal rivets inside for the strap connectors. However, for the life of me, my phone never got any scratches.....just my luck perhaps?

Maybe since they're "imitated", they were'nt all made the same?

Nonetheless, I love mine & neoprene is a good buffer from a lot of elements or mishaps.

Nope, I havent bought one yet.

I dont think you need your USB cable to charge. The SAP car charger is just a simple cord that plugs to your cigarette lighter socket and up to your phone.......just like any Nokia car charger

@mlcallanta,

Is your casing with the two rivets and neck strap Body Glove? If yes, then it's an imitation. Go to www.fellowes.com and check out all the Body Glove casings for cellphones (cellsuits) and you won't find anything that has a neck strap and 2 rivets.

Syempre naman I expected it to be an imitation only.......it only costs Php200.

Thats why I mentioned that since this is just an imitation, then they probably didnt make it all "accurately" the same size.......so mine is probably a tad bigger than yours thats why I dont get any rubbings on the sides similar like yours.
