SMART Bill: An Issue of Consistency!

hope this helps you

smart will deduct the 550 free txt messages and the total peso value(depending on the peak and off-peak hours you made calls on,using your free air time) of the 210 mins from your total unbilled which is 1,456.87. the total difference will be your amount due. just remember, UNBILLED minus FREE TEXT ALLOCATION minus FREE AIRTIME VALUE equals TOTAL AMOUNT DUE

whew!!

Hi to all!

Still no news regarding my problem with GPRS billing. I have been bugged with this problem for more than 4 weeks now.

I have been told by a Customer Representative Supervisor to expect a detailed printout of the GPRS access a few days ago but I have yet to see it.

I do not mind paying for the amount if I really used it. Just show me proof and explain why it appears that the KB cost of GPRS was computed at 90 centavos instead of the advertised 25 centavos.

Otherwise be warned that the same problem might later affect some of you.

I'll let you know what eventually happens :!:

Hi everyone,

Smart recently sent me a printout of about 50 pages outlining my GPRS access. I was able to accumulate > 6T in GPRS usage at the height of the IRAQ war by surfing CNN.com.

I do not mind this lesson in how expensive surfing can be using the SAP. I am glad they were able to show me clearly how I was billed.

The billing statement for that period appeared as if I was being charged 90 centavos per KB.

End of story.

so that was false advertising all along....there ought to be a law for that.

you may want to install a gprs monitoring software so you would not be surprised once the bill comes. this would also allow you to control your gprs usage as you can set it up to show you your running total in pesos.

you can download one from www.all-locations.com.

I have the same yet different problem. Last month my Kb use was pegged at 6,392.95Kb and was charged 1,561.57 pesos or .24 cents per Kb. Today my bill says i used a total of 2,149.33Kb and now being charged for 2,966.38 pesos or 1.38 pesos per Kb. Talk about LARGE DISCREPANCIES. I already sent SMART a complaint letter and will keep you all posted on what will happen.

At least you guys were being charged for increasing your Kb usage, me on the other hand was CHARGED EXORBITANTLY for decreasing it!
