Brilliant app ! But..........

Sometimes it does not word wrap properly.

I have tried lots of different combinations of font sizes and widths but all yield the same results. Get this sorted and it will be my favourite app on the smartphone. 8)

I guess that you have an unlocked version of the SPV? Anyway we have tested it with unlocked SPV (it works) but it is code signed so it should work absolutely also in a locked SPV.

Could you please describe in details at which moment it fails? In PC? In Phone? Etc.? Is it locked phone or unlocked?

You could also try to download it in CAB form from

http://mobile.orneta.com/ or you can try again with PC setup version here.

We test our applications before releasin, and I see no reason why it should fail - maybe some error in transmission or maybe some other errors that we haven't mention. Please provide more details!

(anyway: coming in June 2003 - support for some fascinating file formats in the Orneta Reader - so we would like to have all problems resolved by then)

Exactly ! It should work anyway!

Now we have signed 4 applications with GeoTrust (see www.orneta.com for full list and maybe try other applications too).

Also very strange: it works in our 2 SPVs (both unlocked)...

Approximately 4 seconds after I have chosen "done" with my choice of location (ie phone or storage card), the installation fails with the error message as previous post. I have tried a soft reset of the phone and also tried installing to phone memory as well as storage card and all produce the same error. :)

Could you try to install our other code signed and not-code signed applications from www.orneta.com and say how it goes ? Could you try CAB file from http://mobile.orneta.com ?

We also tested this application/setup with unlocked SPV phone and it works! How it could not work at your phone? Please note: you can also (with WinZip) unpack the OrnetaReader.exe file and put it into phone.

We apologize for the problems but it is really unclear to us what is going on...

Could you try take this OrnetaReader.exe file:

And put it into /IPSM/Windows/Start Menu/

And try to run it?

Maybe really the CAB is corrupted somehow that it runs but not in all SPVs?

I copied the exe file to my storage card and run it through explorer and it works ! Word wrap bug (after re-paginating) seems to be fixed and Page number On/Off feature works fine.

Problem with the CAB file then ?

Thank you, so it is maybe just problem with SPV of Martin. We could make new CAB but 1 code signing costs 4.95 USD (1 signing needed for EXE and 1 signing needed for CAB = in total 2 * 4.95 USD).

Hopefully in next version (support for more file formats) the

CAB problem will not occur...

I second that ! I commute from the isle of wight over to England ( :wink: ) everyday and an E-book reader was always top of my wish-list because of the travelling involved. I'm very impressed with the software but even more impressed with the way you guys listen to and act almost imediately on any problems / suggestions.

Those that are having problems, have you decerted using Orange OTA or through the manual (hard reset and modified files) method?
