Guest vijay555
I feel that i ought to answer for one notable and obviously "technical" lass: Jenneth! http://www.jenneth.info/ she's a member, but i don't think she's commented on the poll so far. She gives the phone great coverage! Specifically, u might want to read her article "geeks and their gadgets" http://mobile.burn.com/story.jsp?Id=340 I think i'm a bit feminine, so u might want to add a third choice! >checks downstairs;) V
Guest jenneth
Oh wow - I've been out of the Smartphone scene lately as I've been getting to know my other recently acquired gadgets (Zire 71, 30 GB iPod etc) - I was only going to reply to this poll with an *eyeroll* until I actually saw my name mentioned. LOL. There are actually a few females geeks out there, even with their own websites (check out The Gadgeteer) but yes, we aren't as prevalent as our male counterparts. 8)
Guest lisann
have you noticed the only girl to comment is not british - so guess british girls arent technically minded (to busy smoking and binge drinking to follow the technology market)I am living in 2003 what era are you guys from???! There are actually a few females geeks out there, even with their own websites (check out The Gadgeteer) but yes, we aren't as prevalent as our male counterparts. Guest ArtyCarl
I think women are waiting for the SPV 2 which, rumour has it, includes a mirror on the back, and comes with a leather handbag instead of a case.

Guest capt_janeway
Both seem to come from Essex or Chatham? And I have to say a lot of blokes also love Nokia's so they can put their own tacky ringtones and covers on too. And which gender is it that has leds on their windscreen washers, big exhausts on Fiestas and lights under their cars? And they say us girls are attracted to tacky stuff!
Guest axe
yeah my chick has the same problem .... plays toki tori and boxy pocket like crazy. when I suggest we get her one as well she complains about the size ... typical, just typical... it can just never be good enough for women. Guest morpheus2702
Wow, blue LEDs on my car... if I had enough of them I could make a couple of warp engines up. Janey, you definately have something there!
Guest mattbrown
what your forgetting capt_janeway is that someone of your maturity has grown out of all the being impressed by what the opposite sex has to offer materialistically speaking and now knows that its personality that counts but the teeny boppers love all this bad boy boy racer rubbish - with their bad boy novas etc ie girls of 16 odd making themselves look older - im only 24 but i would find it odd if girls of my age where still impressed but that s**t studies hav shown that women smoke and drink more than blokes - genrally - ie "laddett" culture (not entirely sure ages groups tho)

Guest capt_janeway
OMG Matt's now saying I'm over the hill  LOL I agree Matt and most the blokes with Nokia's - usually the 8310 - are under 22 and think that by putting a KEnwood sticker in your rear window makes a MKII Escort a luxury car! Guest Coucou
Diverting the thread back to the the topic, my girlfriend loves bubblets and solitaire, and even using it for t'internet, but she doesn't want to get rid of her frankly decrepit 3210 because she has a Winnie-ther-Pooh cover on it. BTW how come 90% of users are male and 9% female (according to the banner up ATM)? What gender are the other 1%? :?
