I find that if I press the record button while my QTEK7070 is KEYLOCKED, the MyTools will popup...but after that NONE OF THE BUTTONS RESPOND.

*Lots of battery pulling before I finally gave up and uninstalled it*

Hmm... I too experienced a crash when running MyTools. All that remained was to remove the battery just like some others in this thread. My problem, however, is somewhat more concerning. After I replaced the battery in my QTEK8080 it wouldn't start at all.

I looked at Micro Chengs homepage and realized a bit too late that the app is for 2002 and I use 2003. But what now? Time to resend the phone to the distributor?

Please help me :D

Have you tried a hard reset? Or can you access the Voyager screen at all?

Hard Reset didn't work. No signs of life at all. Got some help in a different thread on the forum but I went to the retailer today and got a new one on DOA. Better be careful this time :D

I'd also advise everyone to be careful with apps not especially designed for their operating system.

MyTools for Smartphone 2003 are available, but due to too many people didn't know how to manage non-cert. application, so I will not open to public at this moment.

if you are interested, and you are willing to take your own risk to test it, so you may send me an email for CAB file.

I have test it, and work properly on O2 Xphone, it is a great smartphone.

(For anyone still struggling, read the instructions on the download site. The buttons to activate this program are the "voice record" and the "volume control".

same here, uninstalled quicker than installed :P
