di ko alam kung ano point nila at keypads lang talaga ang pinapalitan nila.

anyway,kasama yung record button sa warranty. kadugtong yata kasi ng keypads or end & call buttons yung record button kaya kasama siya.

yup, kaka-hard reset ko pa nga lang. pero i read sa isa sa mga threads na if the phone doesn't detect your camera, hard reset lang daw. i have a different theory. may ininstall kasi akong app (which shall not be named), kaya gumanon camera ko. hassle pala mag-restore!

the joystick costs Php200.i just am not sure kung yun na yung mechanism or yung mismong stick lang talaga.keypads are around Php 350.your sap should be under warranty.libre palit ng keypads(lang) if you're under warranty.

i had my joystick and switchboard replaced, plus key pads and soft keys at no extra charge

by the way guys. dun sa gustong magmukhang bago ang SAP nila may 3 parts ang casing na mapapalitan

1. window screen - un ung may viewing window (syempre) at ung kalahati nung silver sa gilid nya. price P450

2. front cover, un ung remaining silver sa gilid ng screen plus silver part ng keypad at blue side linings. price P980

3. back cover - un ung blue sa likod mula powered by microsoft hanggang dun sa dinidikitan ng IMEI sticker. price P200

kung magawa mo yan, aba'y halos bago na ang phone mo! kulang na lang ang..

4. battery. syempre para gumana ung phone, price 1,395 ata or 1.4k na, ah ewan basta between 1,300 - 1,400.

at habang nagSPAMyad ka na sa pagpapaganda, i reklamo mo na ang chipping soft keys at call keys, it would be free!

Thanks for the reply. Kakainis naman phone natin. Okay ang features pero pagdating sa sira, headache sa users. Pwede ko cgurong ireport sa DTI yung Brightpoint and Smart for making a lot of money from us.

Yung sa brother ko, charger naman and sira pero di rin daw covered ng 1 yr warranty. :)

If that is really the case, sana gawing heavy duty yung parts para tumagal phone natin.

Sa Ali Mall ka ba nagparepair? May I know your contact person para yun na lang malapitan namin. Ang hirap ng iba iba ang kausap, iba iba rin kasi ang sinasabi.

BTW, ilang months na ba cell mo nung pinarepair mo?

just got back to the board ... and dami ng napagusapan dito.

I would like to confirm this.. di ko nakuha agad eh..

KEYPAD CHIP OFF SA CALL BUTTON IS UNDER WARRANTY???

Guys.. tama ba pagkakaintindi ko dito. And BP will replace them.

closed na sori... they transferred the entire service center sa alimall, cubao.. office nalang natira sa araneta but eventually they will transfer na sa makati din..

Sayang, do they sell accesories jasin? Like headset?

Yung headset na nabili ko sa smart wireless, daling nasira kakainis. Dapat naman me warranty din tong headset :evil:

ang pagkakaintindi ko may warranty din headset.. pero not quite sure kung 1 year din, about accessories, nde sila nagbebenta dun.. sellphone parts lang (i.e. window screen, back cover and front cover) ... ung accessories sa smart wireless center na talga

meron nga palang warranty ang headset, kasi when i bought a new one today (geez another 450 but I really need music) sabi nila e merong warranty, not sure nga lang daw kung 6 months or 1 year. Kaso nawala ko na naman yung unang receipt. Pero dadalhin ko pa rin, ipapakita ko na lang yung receipt ng headset ko which I bought today.

Thanks for the info. Papapalitan ko na rin ang soft keys ang probably yung call and end call buttons

At last, I was able to bring my SAP at Brightpoint Ali Mall yesterday, Dec. 24. Good thing, dalawa lang kami ng brother ko nag pa service that time.

My brother has got new keypad, side buttons, call keys and soft keys for free while he paid 450 for a new screen considering 9 months na phone nya at medyo luma na itsura. Hataw, bago na naman cell nya. :) It was repaired within an hour and the result was really good though we saw some dusts behind the screen.

Sa akin grabe nangyari. Well, my purpose going there was to have my SAP's joystick and record button repaired because nag-iistuck. Initially, I was glad knowing that I'll be paying nothing. Di na pinilit pang hanapin yung receipt ko because I left it. So I surrendered my phone and we went back after an hour. The Customer Rep asked me to check my phone and to my surprise, wala ng kalaman laman ang cell ko. :evil: They did a hard reset without informing me. Inaway ko nga cla. Their explanation was that because of the joystick problem, naghahang na raw phone ko, kaya nireset nila. Kelan ba di nag hang ang SAP??? What an excuse from them.

Another thing, the record button wasn't repaired at all. Stuck pa rin. So I asked na lang for replacement. It was replaced within 10 mins. yata and medyo natuwa na rin ako kasi okay na sya when I tested it.

So I signed na their acknowledgment form and gate pass kasi okay na nga e, but when we were about to leave the place, I noticed na yung both sides of my phone have traces of forced openings, yung parang tinungkab ba yon? Ang pangit pangit talaga ng itsura. So balik agad ako and informed the same CR na nag-assist sa akin. She told me kaya nagkaganon eh masikip yung phone ko kaya pinilit na lang buksan. Katwiran ko, binigay ko sa inyo ng maayos, eh ibalik nila ng maayos. So wala clang magawa but to replace the back cover of the phone. Eh di parang bago na rin uli phone ko. Nung sa pag hard reset nga e irritated na ko and I even threatened that I will report the matter to DTI, and then na high blood na yata ako nung makita yung itsura ng phone.

Pero nalusutan pa rin ako sa bandang huli. We were already heading back home na when I noticed na may finger prints yung screen ko at ang daming dust. :D :evil: Ay naku!!! What an experience!

Tips to remember:

Check very carefully your phone before leaving Brightpoint and before signing their docs.

Check for fingerprints, dust etc. (Medyo di mapapansin yung fingerprints and dust pag active yung screen. Try checking na naka off yung phone and itapat nyo sa liwanag.)

hehe kung magpapaplit kayo totally bago ng phone ganito gawin nyo palitan nyo ung 3 major parts..

980 for front cover

450 for window screen

200 for back cover

lahat yan philippine peso

and walastik! bagong bago na phone nyo.. palitan nyo pa battery at brand new phone na yan! hehe

while you're at it paplitan mo na ung chipped keys...

ansama naman ng kay weapon x.. biktima sya ng pinger pinger gang na naman haha.. asan na ba ung reklamo dati dito.. medyo tumino kasi ung brightpoint lately kaya nagsubside.. medyo lang ha!

ok ah... papareplace ko na ung chipped keys ko.

so i assume pati LCD may warrant? kasi ung LCD ko parang may tama eh. kapag all black ung screen ko, merong maliit na portion na may ilaw. or lahat ng SPV ganun? :shock:

ung lcd kasama.. pero kung mapatunayan na kasalanan mo (i.e. na drop mo ung phone, nabangga, etc.) nde covered ng warranty ung lcd ung service na lang...

ung namang roms.. minsan chinecheck nila... minsan pag openline ayaw service-an minsan may tanga ang qtek ay microsoft (daw sabi ng customer representative hehe) minsan nakakaligtas nde na chinecheck.. better yet.. change to smart rom muna, bago ka pumunta, about sa receipt.. nde sila ganon ka strict (pa!)
