Guest florin_m
Spv have a bigger caseing arround the screen.IMG_7713.JPG
Guest florin_m
But Tanager have a bigger keyboard. So if you want to install a tanager screen on a spv u can't  cause then u need to change the keyboard too, and then u need to chage the casing too. So is not worth the effort.IMG_7714.JPG

Guest tbrose
It would be nice if you could just buy the spvx cover, spvx screen and spvx keyboard - if the "mainboard" is the same, you could just replace the three parts, and you would have a tanager! That must be cheaper than buying a brand new one?! Nice pictures btw!
Guest ajb3000
whats the big square metal looking thing on the top right of the tanager mainboard which is missing from the SPV board?

Guest siu99spj
Cool pics, though I don't like the way that PIC writer is perched on the power supply (Expensive kit perched on something = Worlds most expensive jigsaw puzzle before long  ). So similar the setup I had at Uni for 3rd year project, except for the several gazillion pieces of Lego that is! Now, no PIC writer, no power supply, just a PC, phone and a notebook with ramblings about master clocks. Oh, and 17 A0 plot plans
Guest Will
on both phones, there is a white socket, similar? to the port at the base of the spv. (are these two linked, or is this some diagnostic port?? Florin? Edit - This is where the keypad plugs onto the board.. DOH!! Will
