I'd totally forgotten about this one!

Just got new C500 - will get it going

Do people still use this?

I've used browseamp with the pocket PC skin and for novelty value it is excellent. My house mate was well impressed. Anyhow, presumeably you have to have port 80 open to allow this to work as you do with browseamp. Does this not poke a dirty great big hole through your firewall?

How secure is it to leave port 80open?

Cheers,

Mike

I should've explained more thoroughly really. I've the NAT firewall on the router with port forwarding enabled (only when i'm playing with browse amp mind you) and i have windows XP SP2 firewall enabled.

So would i still be safe with port 80 open?

Thanks,

Mike

Ive been using the Media Player remote for my C500, its a doddle to setup and also allows you to shut the pc down from the phone aswell. you can also set a timer on so it'll either stop playing at a certain time or turn off at a certain time.
