Guest Maverick Posted September 16, 2003 Report Posted September 16, 2003 I believe this app allows input/editing of spreadsheet entries ? ...Take a look at the screenshots. But are the files compatible with Excel?
Guest gpcarreon (MVP) Posted September 17, 2003 Report Posted September 17, 2003 But are the files compatible with Excel? I believe there is an MS Excel Add-On for this. Havent read the details though. View their online documentation here: http://www.wapindustrial.com/MicroCalc/mc_manual.html -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is how I managed to get JavaMan work flawlessly. (Applies to all .jar files, though some big-sized jar files dont work with Javaman) 1. Download spvjava.zip The zip file contains: -JavaMan.CAB -midpng_SmartPhone.cab -security.policy 2. Install javaman.cab (storage card) and midpng_smartphone.cab (phone)... 3. Download *.jar files. MicroCalc here ( http://www.wapindustrial.com/MicroCalc/microcalc.jar ) 4. Create a folder named "temp" in IPSM (phone) then put all .jar files in this folder. File name should be equal to or less than 9 characters before the .jar extension for it to work. (e.i. 1xxxxxx89.jar) 5. Open JavaMan, select a .jar file then click Run...Enjoy
Guest MoRFLeZ Posted September 17, 2003 Report Posted September 17, 2003 1. Download spvjava.zip (http://www.4smartphone.dk/../programmer/spvjava.zip ) The zip file contains: -JavaMan.CAB -midpng_SmartPhone.cab -security.policy Ummm that isn't (and has not) been a public download for quite a few weeks. We've removed the zipfile from our server completely now, to prevent a misunderstanding. So you're going to have to find the download from somewhere else. (And how rude to link to the direct dl anyways *smack* )
Guest hk Posted September 17, 2003 Report Posted September 17, 2003 I really cant understand why an Exel Editor hasn't been made yet.quote] If M$ do that they will kill off most of the demand for PPC. I sold my PPC as thats the main thing I used it for, now got a simple C++ program that I wrote that will let me output/edit Excell files (no I will not distribute it as its very buggy and I don't want to put my name to it).

Cheers !
Guest MoRFLeZ Posted September 17, 2003 Report Posted September 17, 2003 The security.policy is modified to allow certain programs (like mobicq and virca) to work. Simply overwrite the file that should be somewhere on you IPSM (check for the java folders..).
