You have to select files to zip first, then the menu option becomes enabled.

Fantastic app but found one small bug:

If you select an item after doing a 'clear selection (#)', the functions 'paste selection (3)' and 'paste shortcut (4)' stop working. It works initially but once you've done a clear selection it's just grayed out until you quit and restart the app.

Other than that, it's almost perfect! :)

That's not a bug, that's what it's supposed to do. Those menu items are greyed out until you either 'copy' or 'cut' the selected items :)

Thanks for the improved app, its perfect for me. I have however one suggestion, how hard would it be to put in a menu option that would allow the changing of Ringtones, SMS, Alarm New e-mail etc... Sounds?

What i envisage would be that you browse to your sounds folder, select a sound then go to Menu then perhaps a sounds submenu where there would be a list like, Set as Default Ringtone, SMS, E-mail, Alarm etc... then smartexplorer would simply apply the path to the sound directly to the registry.

Is this really difficult, if so ignore me, if its not please please do it, i will gladly register for $20 if this feature was implemented it would make it a completely killer app, if you wanted to go further you could do the same for pictures and backgrounds as well?

Heres Hoping

I installed Smart Explorer and Task Manager yesterday, and I'm really impressed. Excellent programs!

But when I try to start them to day i get this error message: "Access denied. The program cannot start because it is not digitally signed with a trusted certificate. Please contact your service provider for more information".

How can I fix this?

Hi people!

Does Smart Explorer have a "Move" function?

I remember being able to that with a program before. It might have been with File Manager ... or I could have been dreaming.

I'm impressed with the functionality of the ir of the new release. :) You can receive any type of file from one tanager to another using either the receive from ir function under the accessories submenu and also from within SmartExplorer itself (File..Send & Receive..receive from IR). I have not experienced this functionality from the previous versions. Many many Thanks.

cheers! ;)

Over the last month I tried out all the file management tools I could lay my hands on, and Smart Explorer was the only one that excelled in file management and and has been designed for SPV users. Sure, the other's move files around, some ZIP files, and others IR them, but none of them do it with such comparitive ease as the Smart Explorer.

;) Great stuff Binary!
