Hello HelloDave

Both guys had Panasonic GD87(?)s. Pix looked good but obviously couldn't hear sound over techno-god Jeff Mills ! :)

I was the only one that voted "All the time!"

A couple of Danish teleproviders just launched free GPRS and MMS for 3 months. I've had it for 3 days and I must have sent 40 somewhat MMS, I realize this number will probably fall drastic in 3 months time, when it's not free anymore. But I really like it a lot...

There are quite a few annoying things about the MMS app tho, so I hope they improve it. And I only have 3 friends who can receive MMS, so I've somewhat spammed them the last few days (and myself testing it out *hehe*)

In 3 months time, and MMS will cost around 27p - (sms is only 2p) so it's quite expensive .. but I think I will probably still send a bunch...

Looks like I'm on the same wavelength as every1 else in this thread. I dont really use it that much, simply because I dont know many people that have MMS capable phones. Even if I did, i agree, it's a wee bit pricy. One of the only times I've wanted to use it is to make people jelous of where I am on holiday :). But of course it didnt work ;).

It really doesn't work much, so until they get rid of the gremlins it's never really going to take off is it?

Why bother with MMS at all? Just send an e-mail instead, with the image as an attachment. You get to send it to as many reciprients as you want (at no extra cost), it's probably cheaper (free with the GPRS promo pack) and you don't have any text length limits.

You can also mail the image to a hell of a lot more people that you know (who has MMS that doesn't have e-mail? The opposite isn't true), plus they get to view it on a nice progressive scan CRT display, rather than the "colour" displays that some (non-TFT) phones have. They can also forward it, or same it to their hard-drive easilly.

As I said, what's the point of MMS?
