Guest kl1wdr Posted August 11, 2003 Report Posted August 11, 2003 Guys, here you can find some full length movies converted for your SPV: [edit] Sorry guys, filesharing isn't allowed --Mono [/edit] You need armadillo or armadillo for downloading the movies...
Guest The PocketTV Team Posted August 11, 2003 Report Posted August 11, 2003 Also lots of short movies encoded specially for the Smartphone on http://www.pocketmovies.net . Download the format 176x124 for Smartphone. Larger formats are for Pocket PC.
Guest CamperBoy Posted August 11, 2003 Report Posted August 11, 2003 I think he means http://www.pocketmovies.net :) (oh, he's edited it now, this post looks silly now)
Guest SPV4U Posted August 24, 2003 Report Posted August 24, 2003 Hi All I have added a DVD to SPV step by step guide to my website should anyone be stuck on how to do it  , including links to software required to complete the process Regards SPV4U  www.spv4u.co.uk
Guest The PocketTV Team Posted August 24, 2003 Report Posted August 24, 2003 Thanks, SPV4U! But since your guide (http://www.spv4u.co.uk/spv4u/DVD/DVD.htm) seems to uses our TMPGEnc templates, it would be nice if you could: 1) Give us the credit for those templates, i.e. indicate those templates provided by PocketTV (they come from our Simple Guide for making MPEG's optimized or Smartphone) 2) (more importantly) provide also a direct link to our template folder ( http://www.pockettv.com/template/ ) in case we update our TMPGEnc templates with improved parameters in the future, or if we add new templates. The zip file that you have copied on your website would not be the most up-to-date if we make improvements to the templates. I already noticed that it does not contain our widescreen templates for Smartphone. 3) We also recommend to use the (fast) Smartphone templates for much faster encoding. In your TMPGEnc section, you should probably provide a link to our Guide that contains a FAQ with many useful information for getting better quality and solving various TMPGEnc-related issues. Thanks in advance...
Guest SPV4U Posted August 25, 2003 Report Posted August 25, 2003 Thanks PocketTV Credit has been given to your templates and users can now look at the help page as well. Regards SPV4U www.spv4u.co.uk
Guest The PocketTV Team Posted August 25, 2003 Report Posted August 25, 2003 Thanks! :) And we have done the same and provided a link to your DVD to Smartphone guide on our www.pockettv.com/encoding.html page. By the way, I think you should call your guide "DVD to Smartphone", because SPV is not the only smartphone around there.
