Guest Vector Posted April 5, 2003 Report Posted April 5, 2003 I've kippered my time and date stamps, what format do I use in the profile page? What do you mean
Guest amo Posted April 5, 2003 Report Posted April 5, 2003 will you be making an unlimited 0800 access thing too? that may be usefull as a backup for my exisitng broadband
Guest paulmottley Posted April 5, 2003 Report Posted April 5, 2003 The 0800 thing is proving a lttle costly and to be quite honest I'd have to put some heavy contention on it to make it pay. I don't want to do that as the main selling point for the dialup is that it's not contended. This is a new thing for me and I want to make a real success of it. Bankrupting myself in the process wasn't in the deal. I've seen that not many firms offer ADSL on terms other than on a contract, or you have to pay via credit cards. I'm looking at something at the moment which could change all that. But until I've checked it out , I'm not sure if I can even talk about it on here
Guest paulmottley Posted April 5, 2003 Report Posted April 5, 2003 You could always use the dialup as a backup, as all the ADSL acccounts will have that available
Guest ChrisJM Posted April 5, 2003 Report Posted April 5, 2003 please anounce winner soon getting fed up of waiting
Guest Gorskar Posted April 5, 2003 Report Posted April 5, 2003 Are you planning on reducing your ADSL prices in light of the recent price cuts by BT, or does the central pipe cost increase rule that out?
Guest amo Posted April 5, 2003 Report Posted April 5, 2003 one mb is a tad expensive dont you think, i know its adsl as opposed to cable but still, in comparrison to ntl's 35squid
Guest Vector Posted April 6, 2003 Report Posted April 6, 2003 So, when you gonna announce the winners then.....
Guest paulmottley Posted April 6, 2003 Report Posted April 6, 2003 true, but it's still competitive to the market and that's what I've tried to do. The margins aren't that high. eg I'm only making pennies on the home service. (slight exaggeration!)
Guest paulmottley Posted April 6, 2003 Report Posted April 6, 2003 The winner is.......... Congrats to jlowap the post from April 4th 3.05pm the third one down is the winner! Thanks for taking the time to enter everybody. don't forget to check out the site for ADSL and this week I'll have the dialup readdy
Guest Vector Posted April 6, 2003 Report Posted April 6, 2003 Well done Jilowap
Guest amo Posted April 6, 2003 Report Posted April 6, 2003 But that doesnt actually go with any of the rest of the site!
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted April 6, 2003 Report Posted April 6, 2003 Free membership to modaco.com  should be reward enough.
Guest paulmottley Posted April 6, 2003 Report Posted April 6, 2003 The winner went well with my ideas for advertising and I may change the look of the site in the future. David has got a second prize which I introduced purely becuase I liked his designs as well.
