i develop an appli for my spv with embedded visual c++ + smartphone sdk . But i can t execute my prog because spv doesn t trust it ( not sign with good certificat ) :!:

Applications need to be signed to run on the SPV. You have to get a certification from Microsoft/Orange... you have to pay for that.

You have to go through a whole process (sending your application for testing). But you have to pay for it first (I think $600). If you don't pass, you have to resend it and I think you have to pay again.

and they tell everywhere than you can dev an appli but they don't say that you can t use it ......

You're gonna have to wait until somebody can crack de softlock of the SPV...

Doesn't seem so easy though since most of the protection mechanism is written in ROM which is verify with a checksum, so modifying the ROM (which is not so easy in the first place) will block the phone from booting.

As a developper you could get a lockfree phone from Orange/Microsoft... but that probably won't be free.
