Guest jamzi Posted July 10, 2003 Report Posted July 10, 2003 Very nice indeed. Love the colour scheme :)
Guest Vector Posted July 10, 2003 Report Posted July 10, 2003 Yup, good work midnight/Paul ;) the shiny bars look cool :) My F5 key is taking a bit of a hammering tho :D
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted July 10, 2003 Report Posted July 10, 2003 I hate shift work ;) Oh well better late than never :) Nice work Midnight you've done us all proud.

Guest sipper Posted July 11, 2003 Report Posted July 11, 2003 I'm a fairly rare visitor to the site these days but got quite a shock when I logged in this am (or is what my eyes see just the effect of the cider I've been drinking on this hot & sultry night in the UK ?!?). To quote the current jargon - the site's been well and truly "sexed up" (but I think the site has definitely got a more professional feel about it). Well done ! Regard to you all Sipper
Guest Arisme Posted July 11, 2003 Report Posted July 11, 2003 Very nice design, good example of a greatly personalized forum ! and pretty fast too ... Congrats
Guest dinoalbert Posted July 11, 2003 Report Posted July 11, 2003 good job! congrats... but I cant seem to find the Software Catalogue link? or Im just blind :)
Guest Lojt Posted July 11, 2003 Report Posted July 11, 2003 good job! congrats... but I cant seem to find the http://smartphone.modaco.com/viewforumalphanoga.php?f=32>Software Catalogue link? or Im just blind ;) Its in the forum index :)
Guest martin Posted July 11, 2003 Report Posted July 11, 2003 Looks great midnight - I've already forgotton what the old MoDaCo looks like :) (thats a good sign I think). One thing though (booo to me) When editing a topic, I found that I kept trying to pick up the dark part of the right vertical scroll bar. I wasn't sure why until I found noticed that the vertical scrollbars are similair but inverted between MoDaCo and Coolsmpartphone. 1. Coolsmartphone has dark blue on a light blue background. 2. MoDaCo has light blue on a dark blue background. Maybe MoDaCo's bar is better and that coolsmartphone should change theirs
Guest midnight Posted July 11, 2003 Report Posted July 11, 2003 hehe, another thing to vote on maybe? :)
Guest davy Posted July 11, 2003 Report Posted July 11, 2003 Excellent work guys. ;) Only one small gripe (and it might just be my eyes :) ) but I find it hard to notice links in the darker shade of blue. Sorry for nitpicking. davy. Edit Sorry guys just noticed that the links aren't obvious (to me anyway) in the lighter shade either. Any chance of perhaps changing the links colour from blue to possibly red? Once again sorry for nitpicking.
Guest midnight Posted July 11, 2003 Report Posted July 11, 2003 ok, that can be done no probs, thats if no-one objects :)
Guest Brody Posted July 11, 2003 Report Posted July 11, 2003 I can see the point in the above post by dinoalbert, the bold links in Mono's sig work fine but non bold are a little hard to see so no objections from here :)
Guest davy Posted July 11, 2003 Report Posted July 11, 2003 Thanks midnight. :) ;) Do you guys have any plans to change the mobile version to a similar design :?: davy.
Guest Brody Posted July 11, 2003 Report Posted July 11, 2003 that might defeat the point of small page sizes??
Guest davy Posted July 11, 2003 Report Posted July 11, 2003 that might defeat the point of small page sizes?? Doh,  never thought of that. davy
Guest midnight Posted July 11, 2003 Report Posted July 11, 2003 there may well be a mobile version in the works :) and yes, it still will be small page sizes
Guest janagan Posted July 11, 2003 Report Posted July 11, 2003 At first sight    After i got my senses back 8) 8) 8) A very good job.
Guest HelloDave Posted July 12, 2003 Report Posted July 12, 2003 Nice one Midnight et al! Site looks much less like it's escaped from an iMac now :) I'm a bit worried about your logo man midnight - not only is he incapable of eating, but I hope he's got O care, becuase if that phone slips he isn't gonna be happy...
Guest Hax Posted July 12, 2003 Report Posted July 12, 2003 Site looks fantastic guys - a good job well done - nice :) One small problem that I'm seeing though (and I hate to sound like I'm complaining), my red folders don't seem to be working all the time. I've marked all as read, and all worked fine for a short while. However, I'm now finding that sometimes I log on and see I have red category folders, so I click on the red folder. Then, I sometimes get just the unread threads shown to me (as I'd expect), but I often get a message telling me that there's no items to view. So, I back out and go in to view *all* threads and then I *do* see the unread red folders for individual threads.... Wow - that was hard to write and read back - too many occurences of read/red/thread in there.... :? Anyways, again many thanks guys Hax
Guest Monolithix [MVP] Posted July 12, 2003 Report Posted July 12, 2003 That's a known bug....fixed by viewing every page of the offending thread. Hopefully it'll be sorted at some point :)
