I shall be wearing a red rose and holding a copy of 3 Aug 1942 London Evening Standard. I will say "It is I". The reply is "Le Clerc" :o :P :(

Im definetly interested mate, beats a lonely train ride on my own - and it makes sence if we'll be on the same train anyway :)

I dont suppose anyone else is catching a train from Wales.

I expect the train I am on will go via Swansea, Cardiff, Shrewsbury etc...

I'll be going (assuming I get a confirmation email back)? Do I need to send a chase email, how long did u guys have to wait for confirmation?

Lucky enough to live in Brum, so not far to go at all!

Not had an spv for very long but already customised it enormously and really looking forward to this event to give even more ideas - cool! 8)

Have received email from David Ogle @ Orange now, so nothing stopping me coming next Saturday unless I get called for work (as I'm unfortunately on-call that weekend).. now if only I can sort out remote-access from my SPV to my PC at work!

Looking forward to it!

Cheers

Do I look upset enough yet

Take pity on me people :)

:)

So how many people are planning on staying the night and where, and how much will it cost? I'd quite like to stay somewhere cheap for a night cause I don't fancy going all the way there and all the way back in one day.

(+ I want the extra drinking time ;) )

Will and I are crashing in a place right next to the venue, £50 for the night.

PM Will and get him to book you in! We might get discount for a few of us!

PS YES we are in seperate rooms!

Hi Guys,

I live in Birmingham and I recommend the following hotel in Birmingham city centre. Quite cheap, cheerful and comfy.

Holiday Inn

BIRMINGHAM CITY CENTRE

Smallbrook

Queensway

BIRMINGHAM, B5 4EW

UNITED KINGDOM

Tel: 44-870-4009008

Fax: 44-121-6312528

Check-In Time: 2:00 PM

Check-Out Time: 12:00 PM

You can get an "Internet Saver" deal for £39.60 a night.

Get a map at www.streetmap.co.uk and paste the post code B5 4EW.

Good Luck and Have fun.

Paul and Will, what do you think of this place? - save £10!

Seems close to the railway station, but a bit further from the event.

If you're already set up though then I may as well join you.

[edit]

Actually - I found that Holiday Inn you mentioned at the streetmap.co.uk website, but no mention of an Internet Saver? Where do you find this?
