Guest Kallisti Posted August 15, 2003 Report Posted August 15, 2003 Had mine replaced under Care last week and a SPV arrived. On a side note, Care was f'ing crap. The phone was alternating between claiming connection to the Orange network, and saying Network Denied, searching. Orange decided they had to refer it to their techies who reckoned they would respond in 48hrs, but it could be up to 6 days. After 24hrs they sent a message back asking me to try the sim in another phone and another sim in my phone. If they'd asked this immediately I'd not mind, but after 24hrs it came across as a stalling technique. Anyway, in the end it took me asking to speak to cancellations to get them to replace the phone. Not really great customer Care is it?
Guest pizdyetz77 Posted August 18, 2003 Report Posted August 18, 2003 Did you ask about the possibility of getting an E100 just out of goodwill? Thanks for your answer - i may hold off for another couple of weeks before asking for a replacement. GH
Guest squall Posted August 18, 2003 Report Posted August 18, 2003 erm i wouldnt hold off, i had sticky keys, but was going away so decided to wait until i got back before getting a replacement, of course i went and dropped it in a river - wouldnt get a replacement for broken keys no more. had to pay for an emergency replacement. on the plus side i did get an e100, not out of good will though, they were just out of spvs. i doubt orange would replace spv with e100 unless they were out or you had huge cause to complain....
