Guest VicSmurf Posted August 6, 2003 Report Posted August 6, 2003 http://www.smartphonefrance.com/rom.asp :) I also believe 1.5 decreases battery life... Well i need the dutch version and the only dutch version on that site is 1.50.27  I need a dutch 1.3.x.x or so... or is there another way (installing an english version??)
Guest MR_E Posted August 7, 2003 Report Posted August 7, 2003 Well i need the dutch version and the only dutch version on that site is 1.50.27 I need a dutch 1.3.x.x or so... or is there another way (installing an english version??) VicSmurf, I've been looking for a Dutch ROM for quite some time, and the 1.5.0.27 is the only one I could find. You could up/down/regrade to an English 1.3.x, but you would lose Dutch language settings and T9, of course. I decided to wait for an official release: this 1.5.0.27 is only available from the French website, and nowhere else. Could be this is an interim build, and there is an official release just around the corner, one with better battery life. Then again, maybe not... :?
Guest Monolithix [MVP] Posted August 7, 2003 Report Posted August 7, 2003 Ah sorry, that would be me getting NL and DK mixed up again... :/ as MR E pointed out, if you do install a UK update you will lose DK language options. If you really do want to install it you can do so with any update from the tri-colour canary screen (Record+Power on and wait a few seconds). Officially you shouldn't really run updates from other countries, as each ROM version is specifically tweaked by the individual carriers for their networks. Anyway, your call :)

Well lets hope they will release an update soon because this is not exceptable! Maybe they can put Smartphone 2003 in the update aswell :) If i find a older ROM update I will let you know!
Guest morpheus2702 Posted August 7, 2003 Report Posted August 7, 2003 Yup mine is lasting a day between charges on light use. So one step forward, two steps back it seems!
Guest vijay555 Posted August 7, 2003 Report Posted August 7, 2003 Anyone get the feeling we need a hydrogen fuel cell like T3? could use thermo to make sure the battery doesn't super nova :) V
Guest Brody Posted August 8, 2003 Report Posted August 8, 2003 Anyone who still reckons the e100 with 1.50 ROM is worse than the SPV take a look at Will's battery tester post in the Main part of this forum, my SPV e100 just beat Will's and Midnight's SPV's! Maybe this will answer your questions! :)
Guest 404error Posted August 12, 2003 Report Posted August 12, 2003 There will be a new dutch update within 2 weeks, it's said that it is the 1.60, some minor fixes like the sms-counter (doe'sn't work yet in the dutch 1.50) IA album will be integrated and IMPROVED battery management. Be A little patient I guess...
Guest zxt Posted October 23, 2003 Report Posted October 23, 2003 One the first 3 days I got my SPV E100 with 1.6.0.8 ROM, battery life lasted only 25 hours each charge, well yesterday its bout 30 hours. Not good because I have to charge it every 24 hours before I leave the house for work.
