Guest lonerjam Posted September 20, 2003 Report Posted September 20, 2003 chibako, baculaoand dino thanks for for welcoming me and for your suggestions. ;) . finally got to unlock my sap by downlading a unlock zipfile dino posted in one the threads. :D turns out i have a .98 bootloader version only. i almost spend a thousand bucks in greenhills to just simply downloading a zipfile and installing it for few minutes. thanks again dino. youre the one who answered my query as to where i can unlock my sap in the yahoo group pinoy smartphone. konting pahabol lang. do you use a screen protector in your sap? where can i buy it? how can i use a song from my sd card to play as my ringing and message tone. thank you very much.
Guest dinoalbert Posted September 21, 2003 Report Posted September 21, 2003 If you are using a Smart ROM, you need to install the SmartTones application so you could save ringtones in the SD card...otherwise, you can only save ringtones in the phone memory. Look for the SmartTones (previously Changer Sonneries) posted my Morflez at the Software-Applications area But if you are using the Qtek or iMate ROM, you dont need any 3rd party apps...you can readily save and use ringtones in the SD card/ My Documents folder ;) cheers...

Guest gosonnie Posted September 22, 2003 Report Posted September 22, 2003 where in edsa shangrila is the unlocking of the smartphone? and how much is the payment now? any unfavorable consequences on the phone?
Guest BrAGoL Posted September 22, 2003 Report Posted September 22, 2003 @gosonnie it's it in the 5th level... and i think citylight telecoms center... why do you need to bring it there, when you can do it yourself?
Guest chibako Posted September 22, 2003 Report Posted September 22, 2003 where in edsa shangrila is the unlocking of the smartphone? and how much is the payment now? any unfavorable consequences on the phone? pre, don't you want to be adventurous and try unlocking your phone by yourself? It's like getting to know more your SAP hehehe! ;) it could also be a learning experience for you. don't worry we'll try to help you to the best we could. Try to attend the next EB, kaya lang wala pang schedule for the moment 8) sayang din ang 1000 or 1500 for unlocking... you can use that to buy an extra SD card for backup purposes... :D opinion lang
