Guest dinoalbert Posted September 16, 2003 Report Posted September 16, 2003 grifter, siguro nga swertehan lang...ako kase isang beses lang nagpapalit ng keypad, wala nang problema...hindi na naSPAMkbak, siguro eto na yung bagong keypad nila na improved na ang quality....saka walang fingerprint or smudges pwede ko pang ibenta na parang brand new hehe saka dapat siguro kase advise mo muna sila na ingatan ang pag-repair dapat malinis at maingat ;) saka so far wala akong beef sa hardware..at least better pa rin sya kesa nokia :D naka-chamba nga lang siguro..

At least SMARTNET ang service center ng MOTO. If you are into clamshell-design phones, the Motorola and Mitac are nice indeed. As for me, Im not a fan of clamshell phones. Besides, the Motorola has nothing special in it IMHO....hardware lang ang bago...Smartphone 2002 pa rin ang gamit. Mas okay pa siguro yung Mio 8390 ;) At least the SPV2/ Voyager maraming bago...naka- Smartphone 2003 na.....plus built-in bluetooth (which I missed from my T68i) and built-in cam (although Im not into built-in phone cams kung di rin naman naka-megapixel). Yun nga lang walang pinagkaiba ang itsura sa Tanager so I hope when it comes out, it has a better hardware

Guest dinoalbert Posted September 18, 2003 Report Posted September 18, 2003 @dinoalbert weren't you the one whose SAP crashed and burned? didn't like just die on you? you went to brightpoint and had it repaired then, right? did you like threaten them with your GUN (like you do in MoDaCo with your avatar) to have your SAP fixed and fixed well. maybe that's the reason why you get good service when you go to "Dim(wit)point". hehe wala namang threat.. yup my second SAP crashed, ayaw na mag-on so dinala ko sa BP, but since more than one month na, pinalitan nalang nila ang buong board, ni-retain lang ang casing...so parang bagong unit, internal bago, external nga lang ang luma...kaya medyo matagal ako naghintay, mga 1 week since galing pa HTC taiwan ang board....then lately dinala ko ulit to have my keypads changed....I think bagong paint quality na etong keypad nila kse hindi na naSPAMkbak tulad dati. btw, yung first SAP ko may dead pixel kaya pinapalitan ko ng unit sa Smart since less than a month pa nung nakita ko yung dead pixel ;) yu

My Microtac before was dropped so many times I lost count! But it still worked. ;) there's nothing special abt the mpx200 except the fact that it is a motorola.

Sa Smart ko kse binigay yung unit kaya may service unit silang pinagamit sa akin habang nasa BP ang SAP ko....yun nga lang Nokia8250 lang ang service unit nila hehe pero sabi sa akin ng BP noon na mag-iistock na raw sila ng board sa susunod para di na matagal ang paghintay...so better tawag muna sa BP kung may board sila na available na

How much labor/parts? The reason i'm asking kasi, dinala ko sa Smart yung unit ko. Nabagsak! Padapa. Parang naputol yung nav key. Nag-iistick sa Up Key. No vibration. :cry: :cry: :cry: Got my unit 3 mos. ago. Under warranty pa. Sabi sa Smart, labor lang daw ang free and they will notify me kung more than One Thousand ang SPAMyaran before repairing. Ganun ba talaga yung warranty?

I got my unit from smart and I don't have any documents that said anything about a warranty, only verbal advice (one month unit replacement). I need my soft keys replaced.
