Guest mugenakuma Posted January 11, 2004 Report Posted January 11, 2004 cool, I will have to try playing it again. thanks, Glenn
Guest phonesmarts Posted January 11, 2004 Report Posted January 11, 2004 running it on an SD card has improved performance (at GBC speed). I have tried it too on the phone's memory, same performance, but freezes upon loading a 2nd time.
Guest midnightman Posted February 19, 2004 Report Posted February 19, 2004 SEGA GENESIS on the spv possible??? :?: :?:
Guest Scarfman007 Posted February 19, 2004 Report Posted February 19, 2004 That's what they're talking about. The SEGA GENESIS is the Mega Drive. Scarfman
Guest nedge2k Posted February 20, 2004 Report Posted February 20, 2004 Who remembers OutRun? Now that would be a game to have. Anyone looked into coding an emu yet? Hehe, coding an emu. That sounds a bit funny. Mabye it just my sense of humour?
Guest mugenakuma Posted February 20, 2004 Report Posted February 20, 2004 I definitely remember Outrun and would LOVE to see it on the smartphone platform. It is seriously annoying how there are NO big game developers making games for the smartphones. Maybe once they become big in the US this will happen. I sure hope so since I am dying to play some good ole Nintendo, Sega, etc. games on my cell.
Guest nedge2k Posted February 22, 2004 Report Posted February 22, 2004 Vodafone Japan have got a java version of Ridge Racer! How awesome would that be. Haven't been able to test it coz cant find it to download...or speak japanese.
Guest mugenakuma Posted February 23, 2004 Report Posted February 23, 2004 what's the deal with these Vodaphone games? If we could even find them for download could they be installed? Are they mostly Java based games? There seem to be some really cool Japanese Vodaphone games and I would love to get em on my mpx200.
Guest nedge2k Posted February 24, 2004 Report Posted February 24, 2004 You'd need a mitac with the java software. The software is out there seperately but its illegal and thats all im sayin coz last time i had a bollockin.
Guest mugenakuma Posted February 24, 2004 Report Posted February 24, 2004 I actually tried using that java program on my mpx and it ran very poorly and in a small little screen. Maybe I just needed the right programs.

Guest nedge2k Posted February 25, 2004 Report Posted February 25, 2004 Sounds like its just down to the apps. Cant rem it being all that slow on SP2002 and it sure aint on WM2003. Ive only got it coz im waiting to find ridge racer.
Guest sgannon Posted February 25, 2004 Report Posted February 25, 2004 Sega emu gets my vote too. Always used the GB emulator on my original SPV but limited to puzzle games because of the speed. Running GB and NES as full speed on the E200 has revolutionised my train journey! Ghosts & Goblins on a phone - who needs an N-Gage! :)
Guest mugenakuma Posted February 25, 2004 Report Posted February 25, 2004 Hey nedge2k and sgannon, I am so with you guys about the sega emu or ANY smartphone sega/NES/capcom/konami, etc. games! nedge2k, let me know if you find ANY cool Java games, like ridge racer. It looks like I will be getting a new Smartphone when the new Motorola SP's are released. These new phones are supposed to have built in Java applications and are capable of downloading apps. With these features downloading Sega mobile brand games should be no problem! sgannon, I definitely here you on your love of smartNES. Ever since it was released my mpx200 has been transformed!
Guest Panja Posted February 25, 2004 Report Posted February 25, 2004 Ohh it would be so cool to have a Sega emu for our phones....!! I really would like to play: Sonic, Alex Kid, Outrun, Streets of Rage, etc! Cheers
