hmmm, a flash for the SAP camera, neat idea, but it should be on for at least 2 seconds when it lights up, since this is how long it takes for the data from the camera to pass throught the stupid serial port into the processor then to the memory.

@randy

hehehe ;)

@rodnav

sometimes it's more than 2 seconds... i think it should be lighted as long as it's not finished capturing the image... :D

yup that would be really nice! ;) hope that if ever they develop something like that for the SAP, the cam with flash should have it's own power supply... i've seen the detachable cameras of siemens, the flash uses power from the cellphones battery. If this would be used for the sap, the battery life would be much shorter... :D

sana magkaroon na lang ng low light mode/gain up mode kung imposible yung flash dahil nga sa bagal ng data/image processing... :roll:

putting a night mode option on the SAP1 will further slow down it's refresh rate.

I don't think anything more could be done on the SAP1's camera hardware-wise.

let's just hope that some optimizations can still be done on the software.

there was a camera available in smart megamall one time, and usb cable and ac charger too. the girl said, it was from someone who lost their phone and decided to sell the accessories. but that was a while ago, 1 or 2 months.

@run

it's the connection to the camera that sucks, it's a serial one, very slow connection

maybe with an SDIO camera, it would be faster. but then, whre do you save your pics, even videos as you'd have a much faster refrest rate.
