Guest chucky.egg Posted October 22, 2003 Report Posted October 22, 2003 tom_b Welcome to MoDaCo. Check this thread for a replacement for MSN Messenger called Agile: http://smartphone.modaco.com/viewtopic.php?t=94753 Please remember to try a search before you post new messages, this one has been all over the front page and there are various threads about it.
Guest Calais97 Posted October 22, 2003 Report Posted October 22, 2003 Yeah im getting the same message, is there any way of fixing it? Cant see anything on microsoft.com either
Guest elr Posted October 22, 2003 Report Posted October 22, 2003 No. there's nothing wrong with phone.... It's the MSN messenger.. microsoft updated their .NET services so MSN messenger needs to be updated but unfortunately, the update is not available YET.. instead, use a third-party alternative like Agile. Just follow the link Chris provided. :)
Guest chucky.egg Posted October 22, 2003 Report Posted October 22, 2003 This might fix it, but do it at your own risk (I'm not responsible for any damage to your phone if it goes wrong): (1) wrap your phone in tin foil (2) submerge it in water for 30 seconds (3) put it in the oven for 20 minutes on gas mark 4. If you dont want to try that (and I'm not recommending it) you could always try a Search for "agile messenger"
Guest elr Posted October 22, 2003 Report Posted October 22, 2003 HAHA :( i'll go for the Search then.. :)
Guest Calais97 Posted October 23, 2003 Report Posted October 23, 2003 I tryed the oven thing and its still not getting into MSN, its not even turning on anymore! :) haha
