Guest Greywolf_Ghost Posted October 26, 2003 Report Share Posted October 26, 2003 Unless I am wrong it has to do with the installer. Goto Windows Update dl and install the .net compact framework. That should allow for you to install on a 98 system. I also had that issue with Min ME and the Pocket PC theme gen until I installed .net framework. Guest gsr264 Posted October 28, 2003 Report Share Posted October 28, 2003 Just Use your windows explorer, move the .hme to your phone, then open it the the phone explorer. It will place the homescreen + color scheme to the right place and delete the .hme file. Then just go to homescreen in the settings program choose the color and homescreen and whalah!! So I can't install an explorer and when I put the .hme file in the HOME-map and go to my phone and try to set the settings to this file, My phone doesn't see this file. Strange, isn't it?
