If stealing someone else's work and selling it is OK because he does "hard work" elsewhere, then I'm wasting my time I guess.

But when you're the guy that hacks something and someone else sells it as his own work, you'll understand where I'm coming from. Until then, you won't. Leaching info and selling it isn't cool.

Did you see the free JAVA app or the free PC app? I have already spoken to one of the teams that did the PC app and yes, they are compiling it for the smartphone and PPC... for free. It's a simple calculation that someone else spent a lot of time and money to figure out to give to the wireless community. I'm willing to bet it's not going to be a hot seller. It's free everywhere in the wireless communities. Did you ever think that this may cause people to start selling their contributions since someone else is trying to profit from it. Thanks for screwing it up Florin...

I may purchase one of his programs and simply change it a little and try to resell it. That's OK, right?

That java app I posted works great on any Smartphone that runs JAVA apps (i.e. ALL new smartphones and PPC's soon to be released plus the current Mitac Mios)

So we didn't STEAL anyone work!!! The INITIAL unlocker for NOKIA's IS made by my MATE (YES a ROMANIAN GUY), so I HAVE his AGREE for porting to SMARTPHONE and SELLING. Porting an APP is not a fun part specially when you have to EMULATE a microcontroler (Can't tell you more details about it).

The porting to Smartphone WAS made way before the JAVA version, and was finished LONG time ago (can ask any moderator from here cause the final version is aveable to MODS since Tue Dec 02, 2003 10:41 pm !!!!), but wasn't for sell just because we didn't had time to put together a WEB page UP and RUNNING because we spend nights and days researching and learning new things.

So if you are so UPSET about all this situation, why you not start yourself porting them to SMARTPHONE and put them for free. Stay and study days and nights and put it for free. Why not every programmer put everything for free?

10 £ is to much for a unlock app?? What i can say UAU!!! Do you know how much is one portable unlocking kit (CLIPS) ?? AT least £50!

About working on smartphone, why not use IE and use free web site to unlock your phone???

Apparently you have an interest in unlocking cell phones but never visited any of the sites that have the tools available to compile your own. Your mate didn't write the original DOS DCT4 version which all of them are based on. Your mate didn't write the DCT3 unlocker. Your mate didn't write the Panasonic and Siemens unlockers. I know who did and you know that...

The JAVA version does predate yours, this is version 1.5. Would you like some of the early beta versions for date comparison if that's what is important to you? Also, the JAVA and PC versions do ALL the phones and didn't break them up one by one like you have done.

I also find it odd that you are selling software that is considered immoral in the first place because it is removing a software lock that you would normally have to pay for from the wireless company. That's the equivalent to writing a keygen for commercial software. Why not take a bunch of the keygens out there and sell those for the PPC?

Here's where all the software is posted when it's released...

Don't pay 10 pounds when it was released to be free, not repackaged and sold.

This is the best out there... enjoy:

For your own record I'm in this business since 1997 !!! I wrote software for mobile phones since then. The guy wich did the DOS version just cracked my friend work. The REAL programmer for the NOKIA DCT4 and DCT3 code calculator is a Romanian and he prefer to stay anonymous! Just look on internet the first company which sold NOKIA code calculator was JIC Electronics (UK company - for this company my friend work) and DIGITECH (Holland they are partners). If you thinking about DEJAN , he did the dct3 and dct4 unlocker, not code calculator. The algo for the codes has been "extracted" from a ORIGINAL Nokia box (pkd-1s +) and winlock software (NOKIA service software for locking / unlocking phones.

So don't tell me i don't know ;)

Anyway is no point arguing with you. I never forced you to buy it in first place  . So you want it, you buy it :P as simple as that :D We force no one to buy our software :D
