Just search for the files mentioned below using internet searh engine like Google, Webcrawler, Hotbot, Etc. SPV e100 is SMART AMAZING PHONE also known as Tanager. =============================================== First u need to check the Canary version of your SAP. if the version is above v0.98 (example v1.07.4M) you need to downgrade the version first. It must be bootloaders from v0.91 to v0.98 =============================================== after some browsing i unlocked my spv with version 1.5 (Canary 0.99) pinout first: the connections used with a standard USB cable are: Red -> V_ADP, pins 20, 21 and 22 also pin 13 Red -> USB_VDD, pin 13 Black -> GND, pins 16, 17 and 18 Green -> UDC+, pin 14 White -> UDC-, pin 15 after that you must dowgrade from version 1.5 to 1.36 for that upload firmware 1.36_FR Canary_1.36.05_ORG_FR.exe or this 1.36_uk Canary_1_36_22.exe best thing should be to download the apropiate v1.36 firmware for your SPV downgrade proces should be done in Win 2000, or XP it works also in win98 butt with sme small bugs (first launch the uk version witch doesn't verify the language(UK, FR, CH ec) and you will have gid.exe error, then lanch the UK version without replacing the files when prompted ) better do it in Win 2000, xp after downgrade read the codes wit spvunlock.exe spvunlock after unlock you can upgrade again to v1.5 (you can find those on orange sites) if you have any problems you can contact me on [email protected] b.r. soraaan =============================================== How to desimlock the SPV (for bootloaders from 0.91 to 0.98). Put the SPV on the usb craddle, the SPV must be under the 3 colors Canary menu. 1 - Close active sync. 2 - Kill the WCESCOMM.EXE process with the task manager 3 - Download the program SPVUnlock.exe 4 - click on the icon of the lock 5 - Note the code given at screen by the program. 6 - Type in the command "quit" and enter. 7 - Put a sim card into the phone (not an Orange one) then just type the code given by the program. This is the old procedure for unlocking the SAP...this is for Smart ROM version 1.5 or lower...this has been discussed already and the spvunlock software I guess has been here for so long now...as early as Modaco started :lol: The problem with many new Modaco members/SAP owner now, who happens to buy the SAP lately, is that the new SAP now have the new ROM 1.6 or 1.7 version.....unfortunately, spvunlock.exe does not work with these new ROMS anymore :wink: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
