Guest scottyboy Posted December 2, 2003 Report Posted December 2, 2003 Lee - well i did make some money but not quite the tycoon yet. WOW, you have the loan option on yours - guess what - i dont  I dont think we can join the games together - but a suggestion to the makers could be in order  Any more cool tips ????
Guest a7awo Posted December 2, 2003 Report Posted December 2, 2003 Start with a small lemonade stand and a few bucks. Pick the best location, check the weather forecast, tweak your recipe, set your price and manage your inventory. Make good business decisions and increase cash reserves so that you can move to a higher traffic location, buy a refrigerator, a faster cash register and an automatic juicer, and squeeze out the competition to become the Lemonade Tycoon. Post your results on the Lemonade Stock Exchange (LSX) and see how your business compares to others around the world.
Guest scottyboy Posted December 2, 2003 Report Posted December 2, 2003 A7AWO - well thanks again for those pearls of wisdom. Sorry to sound like a broken record, but any chance of you elaborating on how you achieve these idealistic goals ???? scotty
Guest a7awo Posted December 2, 2003 Report Posted December 2, 2003 Always trust in the force ... its your only hope.
Guest a7awo Posted December 2, 2003 Report Posted December 2, 2003 You have to 'Be' the game before you can 'Beat' the game ...
Guest scottyboy Posted December 2, 2003 Report Posted December 2, 2003 A7AWO - i see that you are 100  CONGRATULATIONS to you sir. I would REALLY like to benefit from these wise words but i just cant make any sense of them. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE elaborate and i might be one step closer to you wisdom. Scotty
Guest Lee Monage Posted December 2, 2003 Report Posted December 2, 2003 Good morning Scottyboy Just bash one out before my early morning start. More great news on the game sharing front! Went to the monthly model making club last night, always the first day of the month even if it is a Saturday or Sunday, New Year’s day is always a great meeting! My buddie who specialises in balsa wood models reckons it is possible. I shall investigate more. Interesting to read jlowap tips. 8 4 and 3 doesn’t seem to go down well here. Does that mean our version is different to yours? How cool is that! Two versions of this great game! Hey Scottyboy do you think there is an international version where you have to take note of currency fluctuations! Wow the possibilities are endless!
Guest a7awo Posted December 2, 2003 Report Posted December 2, 2003 Lee - Fair play for bashing one out in the morning but unless you remain focused you will always remain in the 'Mall' ... without a juicer :? .
Guest scottyboy Posted December 2, 2003 Report Posted December 2, 2003 Lee - one always has to make time to bash a quick one out in the morning  I am intrigued with your hobbies, maybe your balsa wood model making mate could investigate some new form of lemonade stand that is both cheap to buy and exclusive to just us. That would get the crowds in 8) On my version i can choose between GBP and EURO at the start of the game. Would really like to buy the currency add on - could be fun taking multiple currencies. Yeah, the tips so far are not really making me the tycoon money  got any good tips today? Scotty
Guest Lee Monage Posted December 2, 2003 Report Posted December 2, 2003 Wow Scottyboy. Pounds and Euros and us using Dollars! Got to go now as the sanwdwich lady is here!
Guest a7awo Posted December 2, 2003 Report Posted December 2, 2003 Whats going on first we have the 'Lemonage Tycoon' now we have the 'sanwdwich Lady'. Lemonage boy why not try selling 'sanwdwichs'.
Guest scottyboy Posted December 2, 2003 Report Posted December 2, 2003 Lee - WOW sandwich lady, is this a rival on your turf? Think you could point those loan sharks in their direction  Any news on the stall upgrades? Scotty
Guest Lee Monage Posted December 2, 2003 Report Posted December 2, 2003 On the contrary Scottyboy. Secret can make his sandwiches and I can make the lemonade. We will advertise each others product. Remember you have to speculate to accumulate. Yours as always, but getting bored at making so much money, Lee, soon to be bought out by R Whites, Monage

Guest a7awo Posted December 2, 2003 Report Posted December 2, 2003 Lemonage boy - You don't seem to be much cop at this simple game ... why not try 'Roller Coaster Tycoon' instead ... I hear its very simple. It's got big letters and no long words which should help.
