Guest DeFacto Posted March 9, 2004 Report Posted March 9, 2004 This may sound a little dumb but would an XD work with the spv e200? I already have a 256mb and 32mb card for my fuji digital camera and it would be a shame not to be able to use them

Guest Toyota-F1.com Posted March 17, 2004 Report Posted March 17, 2004 I've bought the Panasonic 64MB SD Card today for my Orange SPV3, and it works very nicely!
Guest tom.ljungberg Posted March 18, 2004 Report Posted March 18, 2004 Kingston - 256MB - Does not work. Since I've read that it works for some people and for some people it doesn't I suppose it's because of the multi cell problem, or double layer problem or what ever it's called.
Guest biffsmash Posted March 18, 2004 Report Posted March 18, 2004 Lexar 64mb works fine. My mate bought a 256mb sandisk which doesnt work properlyin his e100 or my e200 >< As strange as it sounds, it lags up the phone, and you cant read from it. Also pocket tv stops working and asks for reg code with the card in. Remove the card, restart the phone, and it works fine again... strange ...
Guest antman Posted March 26, 2004 Report Posted March 26, 2004 Tried a Delkin Device eFilm 256MB sd card, no good  cannot copy to card, access is denied, emailed Delkin to see if they will exchange what I am hoping is a Multi Cell for a Single Cell, will let you know their feedback. I'm not confident!
Guest shardy Posted March 26, 2004 Report Posted March 26, 2004 Sandisk 256Mb works fine, not had any post-update SD card losses yet either (so far!)
Guest MisterWookie Posted March 30, 2004 Report Posted March 30, 2004 256mb hagiwara sys, won't write! very annoying! I think hagiwara use a Toshiba chip, so beware!
Guest pd.ryder Posted April 4, 2004 Report Posted April 4, 2004 I've had all sorts of problems with SD cards. "A1" 128Mb bought for my E100 worked fine until popped into my shiny new E200 which promptly killed the card - confirmed by the retailer who happily swapped it for a new one. Since then I've had read / write issues and only 119Mb show as available in Task Manager. Where's 9Mb gone. I reckon the card's dodgy again so it's back with the retailer at the moment. Meanwhile, I've installed SP Task Manager EN which will format SD (and MMC) cards so when I get the card back I'll give it a whirl. I have asked if they'll swap it for a SanDisk equivalent as most folk with these report good things. Does anyone know how these SD cards are put together? What can do wrong with them and how do they actually store information. Post a link if you have any info. UPDATE: Here's a thing - A1 128Mb won't do a thing in my E200, can't format it (error), write to it or read from it. Popped it into my mates identical E200 (both pre-update) and it works like a charm :!: However, his Orange 8Mb card won't work in his E200 but is fine in mine. Can't get my head round this
