Guest morpheus2702 Posted December 8, 2003 Report Posted December 8, 2003 Tell me ... 3 packets of cookies later and it still doesn't make any more sense. Can someone go and get me some crisps from the petrol station *hffffffffffffffff*. 8)
Guest kyrkesmith Posted December 8, 2003 Report Posted December 8, 2003 This is a wicked bit of technology - and it happens on the original SPV and the E100 too! Bet Symbian can't do that.
Guest zabirp Posted December 8, 2003 Report Posted December 8, 2003 Erm..... mine doesn't seem to work quite like that, :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?:
Guest Pondrew Posted December 8, 2003 Report Posted December 8, 2003 I give up Someone else want a go? :?
Guest mike-oh Posted December 8, 2003 Report Posted December 8, 2003 HAHAHA! I'l try..... You take a photo of a tree with your phone upside down, the ccd "sees" the tree as being upside down (in much the same way u would if u stood on your head looking at said theoretical tree). SO your phone displays the picture upside down on your phones screen BUT because your phone is upside down (remember you turned it upside down to take an upside down picture of tree for some bizzare reason) you see the picture the right way up!!! It's very simple....... oh sod it i'l post some pictures when i get out of the shower.
Guest mike-oh Posted December 8, 2003 Report Posted December 8, 2003 Right, here we go, as simple as i can make it. Take a lava lamp, in my room (pic 1). Lava lamp, with spv the right way up (pic 2). Notice how the lava lamp appears the right way up on the spc screen, nothing wierd there. Ok so now we turn the spv upside down (pic 3) notice how the image on the screen appears to be the right way up to us. This is because the camera on the spv "sees" the image upside down and therefore displays an upside down image on the screen, however because you've turned the spv upside down you see the image the right way up. Pic 4 shows that the image on the spv is indeed being shown upside down. Pic 5 is the image taken with the spv as seen set up in pic3. It is indeed upside down because the phone was upside down when the pic was taken, nothing strange i hope you agree. It really is that simple, no clever hardware or software needed!!!!1.jpg2.jpg3.jpg4 upside down.jpg5.jpg
