No built-in cam in the T68i mick :) but still a damn good phone. Aaah...the first experience of a coloured phone.

I know, I know. Just a wind up m8y! As you say a good phone but that is all it is. (which is why I still have one! and a nice moto MPx200. Mmmmm, sexy (as my missus says)) 8) 8) 8) 8)

Oops. The Moto V500 has Camera and Bluetooth in built. Just got one for the missus (PAYG) for £115!

The T610 has to be the single best phone that is... um, a phone (i.e. not a smartphone). Shame that it's a bit blocky... though the T630 looks pretty funky.

Blocky?

It makes an old Lada or Skoda look positively svelte :) :D

Yeah I know what you mean. Shame that all SE's seem to be going in the 'soapbar' direction, even if the T630 does look like a block of ice. But that aside, technically I think they have the best interface and performance.

Why they didn't evolve the T68i shape is beyond me...

I have received my E200 on Friday afternoon, I have been playing with it fairly heavily and for the right price it is worth the upgrade. Those of you who can get for nothing or around £50 then go for it. The screen is great, the phone is so much faster, the camera is nice to have, and then there is bluetooth (not tried this).

I paid £79 on upgrade after loads of arguing with OCS, they wanted to charge me £179. My problem is that I only spend about £20-£25 per month, and my wifes virgin tariff is also on my account and her spend is next to nothing.

The call quality on my phone appears absolutly fine, I know others have said its crap, but I can not find much wrong with mine yet. I have made and received call from moblies and land lines and its fine.

I have noticed that the email signitures done appear to be saving, not sure if that is a known 'feature' or not.

My gut feel at this stage is that the battery life is worse than my old SPV, but to compensate a little you can charge the phone using just the USB cradle. So I will keep that at Work and the charger at Home, might just about get away with that.

I have to say that when the SPV came out some were slating it, but after a few weeks I never contemplated getting rid, I just could not imagine going back to a none-smartphone. I nearly jumped ship to a Sony P900, I was offered one at phones4u at £200, but when I got OCS to the E200 for £79 I could not justifiy the increase.

I am please with the phone, its fast, the integrated camera is handy and I think I can live with the minor issues. Give it two or three months and I bet Orange will issue some bug fix patch

If you get a good handset I don't think you will be disapointed

thanks

OK, so I have my E200. I want to sell my original SPV. How do I reset everything back to "out of the box" state so that all my personal stuf is gone?

Thanks in advance

It's meant to be that shape, thats what i like about it. its quite good because its small.

Well i just called orange and it was basically pointless. She said 179.99 for the upgrade and she wouldn't shift on price, and the only free options were crappy nokias that i would not even put on to a fire to stock it up if it were dying out.

So alas i am stuck with the crappy spv, but its better than losing E50, that is the best tarrif ever made for its price!

Still i might upgrade to the MPX200 for free from carphone warehouse if i can lie to them about my bills! i only want the extra memory card!

Just got off the phone to CS, they want 100 of my crisp notes.

Bah! I'm not paying that!

I hinted about moving to another network, but the guy didn't give me a discount.

Think I'll try again in a few days, see if I can convince another member of staff to give me some money off.

Grrrr. Why does orange continue to favour new customers over existing customers!

Anyone got some good lines to help 'convince' the OCS staff?

I only spend about£20-25 per month, I got my E200 for £79 on upgrade but it took some arguing.

I reminded them I have been with Orange since 1994 and then told them I had been offered a great deal by O2 for a P900 (via Phones4u - they did quote me £200 on a £30 tariff). I gave Orange loads of its not fair, new customer get us loads, us loyal ones get shafted etc.

Could not get them any lower than £79, but I only had my SPV replaced the week before on insurance so should get £50 for that on ebay!!!

thanks

Well i was intially quoted £79.99 and orange wouldnt budge, so yesterday i went str8 to disconnection/retentions and told them that i was thinking of leaving orange bcoz of that price and im on everyday 50 and my bills come to £100 plus, so the least they shud offer is to give me the fone for free and they guy said no problem sir we shall sendout your new spv E200 asap........i was like cool!

Plus they offered me a £50 credit to use too........sounds like a good deal!

:)
