Tried it.  Waving the phone in a figure 8 motion did not work either.  I am now on IL2 firmware.  When I reverted back to the old IJ9 firmware, it works.  To those who managed to get it to work, can you post what firmware revision are you using?

From IJC firmware onwards, I couldn't get the compass to work even when I ran from the original LCDTest.exe.

I am also using the Verizon I920 and I installed v1.1 with sdk 2.1.0 on the first post and it's working fine for me (including the flashlight turning on and off).  Also I'm not having any problems with the screen timing out at all.

I was changed the links directly to the files, not to the folder. Now works great.

i must report 1.1 worked perfectly...

uninstalled it... installed 2.0.... calibrated, but flash doesnt work..

my suggestion, make separate programs for both.

the flashlight and it's problem broke my camera app on 6.5.3 kuanchai lite rom.

Did you uninstalled the SDK 2.0?

What's your firmware's number?

I have IL3. Both features works like charm.

Update:
Now the flashlight doesnt't works for me too. I think I missed something.

like he said... compass is a charm but flashlight wont start... i tried soft reset.. nothing..

btw 2.0 compass looks very cool.... so cool i didnt bother making background
