Hi Gary Crutcher

I am bit curious about your next release.

Did you include SDK Certs, NetCF 3.5 in your ROM?

As I see above you still have samsung widgets included (useless in 6.5.5).

Have you remove themes, images, video ringtones to make your ROM lighter?

I would have like it a bit lighter than it is but this is my personal taste.

And I want to thank you for you decision to include the rest of keyboards and XT9 files in your coming release.

Thank you for sharing your work.

I'm curious about the SDK Certs, NetCF 3.5 and what not as well.

My next request is if you can do an ultra lite, with all the SDK/Net/opengl/g-sensor/overclocking/threaded sms /etc stuff already enabled. I only ask this cause you seem to be doing a great job on being a chef, and perfect timing since I just got my omnia.

Thanks again for all your help in the community.

dear Gary Crutcher

are you thinking of makeing a jb3 ultra lite 6.5.5 rom? <_<?
a rom with non programs and sutff.

First things first...I need to restore language keyboards in 6.5 and 6.5.5 and
fix the Samsung Kies issue.

Then, I can look into ultralite versions.

If you are referring to the bar above the today screen, I already mentioned
that in my first post. It is a Samsung issue with 6.5.5. When it gets fixed, I
will post a new ROM.

Uploading new version with:

1. keyboards for all languages
2. KIES fix

May take awhile - uploading is a slow process.

Will post on 1st page when upload complete.

Still 8MB Page Pool.
Free Program Ram still should be the same.

NetCF 3.5 is part of 6.5.5.  Actually there is a NetCF v3.7 I will look at, but may or may not include it.
Don't know yet.

SDK Certs not installed. There are cabs for this. Easy user install.

Will be working on an ultra lite version after I fix the keyboard and Kies issue with 6.5.
As far as adding some of your suggestions:
- overclocking - prefer users do that - not something I want to mess with.
- others - will look into them

That's great to hear!

Hello Gary, congrats on your Roms mate.
It is good to see some more chefs starting to emerge for our handsets.

I am wondering if you would consider cooking in the BT fix for us BT handsfree car-kit users.
It is the same fix found in Khuanchai's and Teeh's (PDAMobiz) roms, but you probably already knew that <_<

Thanks for your work mate.
Matt.

EDIT- And maybe XDA_UC

Keep what you are using unless you need language keyboard, i.e, French, German, etc. or
you need to connect to Samsung Kies or Samsung NPS.

Thank you very much for the fast reply Gary...
No I don't need languages as my SPB Keyboard v4.1.1 gives me other lunguages anyway and I'm using "Windows Mobile Device Center" with no problems...
